Here is the news about a mod not the game actually.
What looks for some people amasing and what for others is personal choise and many like rf2 and there mods to.
And you would be amased that people like rf2 and that it can look good. Some people prefer physics and other stuff in games and dont judge games only by there looks.

I will not argue with you what is better and what is not. Everybody has his own taste and view what he wants and needs and what youre talking and beeint smart here about has nothing to do with news so stop trolling here.

PCARS that you want to sell you PCARS as cars and tracks.

Rfactor created and you can download (free or paid) mods or tracks that you will find on the NET.

You are free of your choice, play rfactor, PCARS, Asseto Corsa etc … but stop pushing the people to agree with your tastes and your desires.

We are human beings free to make our own choices without all the world come to dictate what to take or not.

The mod F1 2013 will be completed before the first race, it will “pay” and will cost 2 euros.

People are free to buy or not, we want to force anyone to download our mod for rFactor 2.

If the model is selling well, we promise to the community to do it for Asseto Also Corsa (those who buy the version of rFactor 2 will be free to Asseto Corsa)

Now you can criticize our policy to sell, but we’re not the only ones to do so and we will not be the last.

As a fan of both pCARS and rFactor, I must say that this isn’t the place to try to preach. Keep the pCARS comments to pCARS articles and the rFactor comments to rFactor articles, you’re not helping anybody by insulting fellow sim racers no matter what they play.

good to see f1 mod (and it`ll be released before 1st race of a real champ), but what about f1 tracks for f1 champ???

You are charging for this F1 mod? I doubt FOM and Codemasters will be happy about that.

Somebody in this blog with advanced graphics knowledge can tell me, why RF2 looks something “plastic” not realistic, in comparison with other sims (not only pcars, AC, also GT5, dirt, grid, skyrim etc) even in renders of modders it looks like it lacks something, its cubemap, textures mapping, shaders, colour palette? It’s an engine fault or can be solved? Every time i see some RF2 screen looks very good in modelling but plain cartoon coloured shape or something.

Can anybody answer me? (anybody with knowledge of course, i dont want to flame nothing, only to know)

Sometimes I think back of the time simracing didn’t had as much fanboys and trolls like today. The time the passion for simracing was shared between GTR, GT legends and rF racers. I am sorry to say but it seems that when pCars, Grid and F1 2010 was introduced it seems to atract alot of gamers instead of passioned simmers and with it the trolls and fanboys also came. It was the goal of the devs to get more customers and I don’t blame them if there is a dollar to make. Its kinda like the way F1 was until Bernie and the big companies had taken over and the profit took over pasion. I must be sounding like an old guy now and I don’t blame pCars or other sim/games, but our community is slowly loosing that one thing it’s all about…..RACING!

So RF2 will be the next pay for content racing game??!! Everybody who talked about iracing few years ago now will talked/criticize RF2!!! Dont blame them, i will stik then to iracing, better and REALISTIC PHYSICS, not what you can get in RF2 like the T5 (fictional DTM) or even these guys with F1, everything is fictional so iracing wins!!!!! I rather spend 100 in iracing to spend 10 euros with this joke physics!!!

I for one don’t mind paying $2 for a mod. Pay more than that for flight sim mods all the time. But I will say you guys must have balls like melons if you’re gonna try selling licensed material THIS high profile.

ok models look good and I’ll give it that, the work is going really fast, but charging at all for content of one of the hardest to license series and Bernie deleting F1 videos from youtube sometimes, I don’t think this is going to go through.

Yes offcourse. My (sim)racing goes way back in the ’90. I started racing with a controller and pedals (just button under my feet) on the megadrive with Newman Haas indycar.

I am all for modding teams to try to make a living as long as they do it properly and get licenses to sell such content. If you call this F1 or Force India or Williams you can expect to get sued bottom line. I am also surprised Virtualr would basicly post content with illegal distribution in mind. Show me your permission agreements and I will shut up but if you go about this in a bad way you may cause problems for others. Even the one’s not charging for mod content. On the other hand if you started your own little group and to become a member you have to pay 2 euro and with your membership this mod is free I think that may fly.

Well ISI asked their followers of rFactor what would the community like to see as far as more emphasis put on what and physics won the vote flat out over graphics and it shows. So don’t blame ISI they probably have a few limitations with their aging game engine and just wanted to give their users what they wanted.
