A bunch of new previews of Codemasters’ F1 2012 title have surfaced, including new screenshots and a video interview.

Stephen Hood was recently interviewed by GameTrailers.tv, answering several questions regarding the upcoming title. Furthermore, IGN has released a quite extensive written preview, mentioning new features such as the more refined weather system, improved gamepad steering and more.

To round things out, Codemasters have released four new screenshots, showing various cars at the Circuit de Americas.

F1 2012 will bring all cars and drivers of the current Formula One World Championship season to the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The title is due to be released in September.

I’m sorry but this looks really bad. Shading just looks off and where the models lack polys is clearly seen in the pictures. Not to mention the cars look rather dull and not shiny. A real step back compared to F1 2011

Codemaster always leave bugs behind, remember 2011 and 2010?. Give it to another company the rights of F1! This year i will not buy for sure!

The various new modes suggest an even bigger foot in arcade racing. To be fair, they’ve spent a good deal of time in recent interviews telling us that it is not a sim. Let’s face it, two games into this franchise is that a surprise at all?

I do like the sound of the real life performance matching, though.

Is it just me, or has the Codemasters graphics engine dated very quickly?
