Back in September, Codemasters released F1 2010, their first ever Formula One title for the PC and next-gen gaming consoles. Since then, the studio has been hard at work at the title’s successor – F12011.
With the 2011 Formula One season right around the corner, Codemasters are gearing up to release first info on the new title as the studio has confirmed that first details will be available before the Australian Grand Prix that is scheduled in a little more than three weeks time.
Codemasters will once again receive assistance from Peugeot works driver Anthony Davidson who recently tweeted the following:
Had a good day at Codemasters today working on F1 2011! Big improvements over last years game. Exciting stuff!
The studio has already promised that F1 2011 will not just be an update in terms of 2011 cars and tracks as Codemastersre a planning to add various features that had been left out of the 2010 title that showed plenty of promise but was plagued by plenty of bugs.
