Regardless of how the physics might turn out, CM clearly don’t seem to be adopting an ‘arcade’ approach to this game. The weather and its effects on the player and AI is getting to be 2nd in complexity only to Flight Sim X (or FS9).

Pity though that racimg sims never allow the option to download real world weather like in FSX.

In F1 generally drivers seem to find more grip OFF the racing line, will this be apparent in game and if so will AI drivers take different lines.

AI drivers have slight variation in the lines they take anyway, but we’re not including the ability to gain additional grip off-line as that’s far too subtle for the vast majority of players to pick up on. At present you’ll lose grip going offline, especially as a session wears on because marbles form off-line.

    FAIL imo

The person who sent in that question is stupid. How prepostrous is that, more grip off the racing line.

There is absolutely NO grip off the racing line, I mean why else do race drivers drive the ideal line. Man, what a dumb question that was.

The only exzception to that rule is in wet weather ofcourse, where Rubber build up can actually make the racing line rather slippery.

Check back to Bahrain where they were taking the last corner differently for this reason.

Other than that, your right, wouldnt be called the racing line otherwise -.-

I’m sorry, but you call this a stupid question… Well your answer is even more stupid. During rain there is more grip off the racingline…
