F1 2010 – Two New High-Res Preview Screenshots

Codemasters has released two new high-resolution preview screenshots of their upcoming Formula One 2010 title for the PC, Xbo 360 and Playstation 3.

Just like the screenshots released before, these aren’t completely new but digital versions of the images featured in the Official Xbox Magazine’s preview article that was published last month.

Following their maiden Formula One title that was released only for the Playstation Portable and the Nintendo Wii, Codemasters will be bringing the 2010 Formula One season to the PC, the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. F1 2010 has been confirmed to be released in September 2010.

    I was excited by the last wet pics, they didn’t have the yellow filter they had in all of the dry screenshots. It looks like it is back for this one though….

    Now that the first 2010 car is in-game, hopefully we’ll see something new in the future!

    f0xx: These last pics are looking great, almost real.

    Looks better, less yellow-brownish but still like a kind of an old black&white postcard that had been watercolored a bit with a red color for car body parts. Where are all other colors? Guess trees and grass would still stay green even in a rainy weather. That watercolored look may be ok for an artist representation or a kind of gloomy movie, something like “300“, but I would rather prefer to see just naturally looking world that is always a blend of different colors , bright and dull, saturated and not.
    Let’s keep “cinematic” look for movies and start to get “realistic” look for games.

    All I see is grey and blur.
