F1 2009 for GTR2 1.0 – Released

Posted on April 10th, 2009 in

PO911 has recieved permission to convert F1RL’s Formula One 2009 mod for rFactor to GTR2, bringin the current F1 season to the simulation.

The mod includes all cars of the current season in a semi-fictional fashion as not all carshapes are completely correct for the sake of a quick release. The GTR2 version has its own physics made by PO911.

Below are some screenshots of the rFactor version, giving you an idea of what to expect.

literaly the worst conversion I have ever seen

    horrible texture integration
    hands travel through cockpit
    undershadows.. OMG :(
too much more to not enjoy, if this is “authorized” I cant belive the original mod group has seen or approved this horrible effort.

The mod is good but i had seen than the mirrors are not good :

the left mirror is the right mirror and the right mirror is the left mirror.

    Good work, it’s really good.

    Thanks

Why I cannot see my front wheels? :weird:

Hey safmaverick, i have the solution for you ;-)

To make the wheels visible in game do the following :

Open the file “your-nickname.plr” in the Location GTR2\UserData\your-nickname\
with an editor (for example notepad) and change the line 281 to :

Wheels Visible In Cockpit=”1″ (default is 0 – dont forget to save it after changing !)

Ps : you find the line under [Graphic Options] or use the search-function in
the Editor – search for “Wheels visible”
