F1 2009 by F1RL Prunn Edition 1.2 – Released

Prunn has released a new version of F1LIGUE’s semi-fictional Formula One 2009 mod for rFactor, continuing his work on making the physics of this mod more realistic.

Based on the latest version released by F1LIGUE, Prunn’s version comes with all-new physics. This is the final release of his work as Prunn considers the physics to be finished now, not planning to add anything else.

F1 LIGUE’s F1 2009 was the first 2009 season F1 mod to be released for rFactor. Having many inaccuracies in the first versions, the team is steadily working on improving the quality of the mod with every new version.

Important: This is just an update, make sure to have the version 1.1 installed.

    This needs a better opponents filter.

    Right now, when you race, you have the Joran team in there (?!!!?!?!) and 3 Ferrari’s NONE of which is Massa who has done most races this season.
    One of the Ferrari’s is Schumacher who ended up not even driving.

    Come on guys, get rid of Jordan, Make Ferrari into Massa and Raikkonen and if you want Fisi, then add a new filter called f109new.

    The rest is fine.

    Fisico will be driving the number 3 car basically Massa’s car so all they need to do is add another driver for car number 3 actually 2 because lookhowbadyouare also raced Massa’s car!

    They can add all the Ferrari drivers they want but there has to be some method when choosing ‘Opponents’ to filter out who you do and do not want in the races.
    I would prefer Kimi/Massa or Kimi/Fisi. Theres no need to add Schumacher and I could to without Badoer too.

    So more opponent filters are needed so you can select who you want.
    Force India only has one driver too and I see in the talent files there is Liuzzi who isn’t confirmed there yet.

    Im still bewildered as to why the Jordan team even exists in this mod. Bizarre.
    If its to make up the numbers for a league mod then fine, but I think it should be removed for public use really.

    You try a race with this mod and you’ll get 3 Ferrari’s 1 Force India and a Jordan team and theres little you can do about it.

    Until FSOne and CTDP release theres this is probably the best 09 mod out there but it needs those fixes.

    1.0 isn’t in the picture anymore, too much stuff was changed in 1.1

    there is no jordan in this mod and ferrari drivers are massa, fisico and kimi
    if you dont want them 3 at the same time… boot one lol

    So let me get this right, we set the No. of drivers in the race to 1 more than normal and then boot one Ferrari driver, every time we use the mod.

    Would be nice if you would take more pride in your work and polish it off a bit more before calling it finished.
    I don’t mean that in a bad way, because I think your mod is worth the polish.

    Tried that too. Loads of ripped off parts in that one and the sounds kill my ears when the cars are on full revs.

    I must apologize to everyone who downloaded the update, funny thing rfactor took some random backup file and used it as if it were the actual file even tho it was renamed and in another subfolder… and I built the whole physics around that file apparently, I really didn’t see that coming
    so here’s the fixed version of the update
    you can install this over 1.1 or 1.2 it will fix everything

    Hey Prunn, i have to say congratulations on this mod, i have not really enjoyed the modern day f1 mods – maybe they are very realistic maybe not – but for me they lack “feel”, your mod however is really very good in my opinion and it has bought me back to modern era f1 cars, so many thanks, i really like the physics, i like how the tyre models – very good and also how the weight distribution works brilliantly with the tyre models, i am looking forward to the v1.2 version and hope it hasnt changed the physics to much.
    anyhow once again many thanks for your works, and those who have contributed to it. cheers.
