F1 2008 by F1RLIGUE08 1.0 – Released

F1RLIGUE08 has released F1 2008 for rFactor, joining the infamous F1RFT as second 2008 Formula One mod for rFactor.

Unlike the F1RFT mod, this one seems to be fully legit as it’s listed on rFactorcentral – Hopefully no stuff has been used without permission. The mod brings all 11 cars of the 2008 Formula One season and might just be what many people need to pass by the waiting time until a proper, scratch-made 2008 mod is released.

    As this mod is pulled from rFactor Central, there must be something fishy about it – and what is that? I haven´t followed the story about this mod. Does it beat FSONE 2007 in physics and pure enjoyment (other than including 2008 skins)? If it does not – I couldn´t care less.

    any information about it? I think it’s RFT with FSOne physics 2008. Or fsone with some extra. :???: I don’t think that this mod is good.

    I love it this mod !
    the physucs is very good, for the novice in rfactor is very good job.
    the mc-larren is this of hockenheim i love that, the mod is upgrate the week of gp.

    To those that have played, does the McLaren have the anvil wing during a race ? Cos as I remember it, McLaren chose not to run with it after testing.

    Tire textures looking amazing, and the physics where OK.

    Well the cars look quite nice, as do the skins, I never got F1RFT so I dunno if there the same but pictures look similar.
    The Mclaren doesn’t have the dorsal fin engine cover in game, or in the skins!

    The physics & tires are from ISI BMW 07 or 08.
    The tires textures are nice, shame they go low tex in game unless in private test, cars are very FPS hungry.

    To sum up nice to look at if you have the hardware but FSONE07 is nicer to play for me.

    Is anyone have problem with installation of this mod??? When I started installation I received this error: GameData\Sounds\F12007\BMWLOW_IN_C_mcl.wav : Ce fichier contient des donnees
    invalides. (error 11FD)
