F1 2007 for GTR Evolution – New Previews & Info

MMG is working on bringing their popular Formula One 2007 mod for rFactor to GTR Evolution and after a while with no news, here’s more on the project.

The team is busy finishing up the final tasks and currently expects the mod to be out in Q1 2010. A public beta of the mod can be tried on the Roma Games Festival (December 19/20th) so if you happen to live in Rome or nearby, you can take the mod for a spin there.

Below are four new previews, showing four different cars in action. The mod will bring all cars and drivers of the 2007 Formula One season to GTR Evolution, enriched with GTR Evolution-specific features like rain races and animated arms.

    For such a ‘big company’ with so many alleged ‘empoyees’ who are allegedly working on ‘commercial games’ its strange that in 5 years MMG has only released 1 mod, when most other smaller less public mod groups are much more productive and to a higher quality as well. How many decades to produce your commercial game petros, you know the one with zero funding and programmers? lol..

    A part for this, I’m curious to see how the final result will be!

    Dont worry uff you will continue to be curious for a very long time. lol. This was mod was announced sep 08. Its taking so long because there is no big mod group its just 1 guy doing this mod by himself and its obviously not petros the great mmg ‘leader’.

    I’m the one building the Race version, and yes, that reads right, version, it’s not a conversion…. Only thing to cross over from the rF mod is the 2D and 3D… So it is not a one week conversion…

    It was and the guy left and didn’t pass on any of his work… I started around April/May 09….

    If you had joined a real mod group you could have had people helping you, instead of going solo. What kind of mod group has one guy doing all the work?

    btw everyone leaves mmg eventually when they wake up see what a joke it is. The guy who did the 79 mod left as well and took his work. Thats why no mods ever get done. All talk.
