F1 1998 – Previews

Turb is at it again! After bringing the 2002 DTM Mod and the BMW M1 Procar Mod to rFactor, he now received permission from CTDP to convert their F1 1998 mod.

6e66o has had the chance to try out the work in progress conversion and has created a set of stunning previews that you can find below. The mod will be bringing all cars of the 1998 Formula One season to rFactor, allowing us to relive the exciting Ferrari vs. McLaren battle.

Really nice shots, 6e66o, I particularly like #8 with the Bennetton.

Aaargh, how to get enough time for all the awesomeness of late? I really like Warnux GP2, Epsilon Euskadi, M1 Procar and of course the mother herself, Historic GT & Touring Cars. Not enough time, not enough time. And now this …

    And then CTDP 06 …

    Its a nice problem, though.

Lurvly!!! fantastic looking mod. the MP4/13 was such a fantastic car, these look so much better than modern EFF1 cars, no crap all over the car and proper front wings! (not metal) shame they made them use grooved tires! I hope the physics dont let it down.

nice textures and models but some parts of the cars are a bit to angularly.

as stated on rscnet, beautiful screens. Would make a nice historic season 10years on. Keep it up dude, I’ve loved your previous work on the M1 Procar

Not a fan of F1c Conversions.Shapes could be higher poly and should be reworked a bit.Textures look great, and some new helmets wouldnt be a bad idea.
