F1-S-R has released a new version of the League Edition of their Formula One 1993 mod for rFactor, including all cars of the season with equal physics for close online competition. A historic version of the mod with realistic physics will be coming up later.
The mod has been made with full permission from Oggo and his GP4 team who created most of the original material. Lots of other modders have added material to this mod, please refer to the readme file for the full credits. The new version comes with a new Larousse model as well as plenty of physics changes and bug fixes.
1993 was the final season to allow driver aids such as active suspension and anti-lock brakes, the season was dominated by Alain Prost and the Williams team, clinching both the driver and manufacturers title.

Really nice mod guys…
but it is giveing me one problem, its the only mod that seems to be affecting the track graphics, when using this mod im getting alot of flickering around all tracks, when using any other mod theres no flickering what so ever. Any clues?

That´s caused by the clipplanes in the cam file.
Look in the cam file of another openwheel mod, that doesnt cause the flickering, and change the clipplanes accordingly.

Tried this last night on my laptop. The cars look superb. Not had a chance to experience the cars on track properly as I could only use keyboard on my laptop while lying in bed :)
I paused it during replay on a great screenshot of Senna being chased close by a Williams. Oh that took me back.
Yet another great F1 season for rF. I really hope these get ported to rF2 when thats out.
Very nice work guys. Much appreciated ! Please don’t take too long to release the historic version

Ok, I’d love to help you guys with this as there are quite a few things that need correcting:
1. The real MP4/8 did not have a round steering wheel like the Mp4/7 but had this wheel:
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3639/3466561305_3204f087a2_o.jpg
2. Senna is using a Bell shaped helmet with incorrect positioning and spacing of logos. In reality he used the beautiful Shoei X-Four helmet, with the little chin. The mod is a shame in that the Mp4/8 is modelled beautifully but it isn’t finished with the great helmet shape Senna used.
3. The McLaren team (senna, hakkinen, andretti) are not using the OMP 718S mito glove used in 1993 but are using a later edition that Schumacher used in 1996 (you can tell because it has 2 white bands and a large OMP logo).
I could go on and on. But as I said before, I’m an expert on early 90’s F1, if you need help, let me know.
