TMF is working on converting Erik Van Leeuwen’s F1 1991 mod from GP4 to rFactor, bringing us another exciting season of F1 racing.
For quite a while, this mod was part of MMG and will now be released by TMF. The mod has progressed pretty far already with all cars of the 1991 season already in game. Below are the first two preview videos, showing us the Williams and other cars in action.

Very nicely presented. Looking forward to this season of F1 racing. 90-91 was great.

I love this season as well. Senna, Prost, Patrese, Mansell, Berger, Piquet and a young Schumi all in one mod! Crazy.

Half of the cars were never authorised for use by MMG (or, I should say, MMG never even asked, instead deciding to state that they were scratch made which was a total lie). Will be interesting to see if TMF approach the individual authors for permission or just gloss over that too.. I guess glossing over it is the way since all cars are apparently in game.

Ok that clears stuff up. Would be good if in the mod information thread’s first post full credits would be added.. The list of authors can be found here: http://1991mod.drivingitalia.net/cars/
For the record, my real name is Nick Ovey.. from that list I think you can understand why I’m a little protective of these assets. In any case, anyone’s free to use any of my 91 stuff as long as the appropriate credits are given.. it’s that old now I have nothing to gain by saying no to people. It’s also good that MMG have nothing to do with it.
