Markus and Valiante are still working on their Formula One 1985 mod for rFactor, adding a bunch of missing cars to the field.
While a seven-car beta of the mod is already available for download, the new preview shots show some of the missing cars from the 1985 season grid including the Zakspeed, Benneton and Osella entries.

Virtua_LM has released new previews of another stunning track creation for rFactor, showing us new shots of the Japanese Fuji Speedway in late 80s specification. Located near the famous Mount Fuji in Oyama, Japan, Fuji Speedway was opened in 1963. Even though Codemasters announced that their Formula One 2010 game will be revealed to the media on March 17th, first details have now been disclosed via the Official Xbox Magazine. MMG has released their Formula One 2007 mod for GTR Evolution/RACE 07, bringing a high-quality Formula One mod to Simbin's franchise. Hi All,
Thaks a lot for the support of our mod. I hope it will be out soon for all of you. To convert it to grt2 I have to look for a lot of information how to put the cars to the game, but nothing is imposible.

In our league we discovered it was /impossible/ to follow another car (to the point where people would spin off or just understeer so badly they’d have to change down 2 extra gears to make the corner).
Upon inspection of the HDV file(s) we discovered that FWDraftLiftMult was at 2.5 which is much higher than any other mod with front wings. We changed the value to 1.5 and found that it improved the racing. It was still difficult to follow someone, but at least it wasn’t murderous.
Can’t wait for the other cars!
