Endurance Series SP1 – Ferrari F430 Previews

Team Enduracers have released the second GT-class addition to their Endurance Series mod for rFactor that will come with Service Pack 1 – The Ferrari F430 GT2.

Introduced in 2006, the F430 caused a shift in performance in the GT2 class, breaking the traditional Porsche stronghold on the smallest GT class. The car is powered by a 4.3l V8 mid-engine, it’s entered by notable teams such as Risi Competizione, BMS Scuderia Italia and JMB Racing. Since its debut, the car has won countless races, championships as well as back-to-back GT2 victories at the last two editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The first service pack will be introducing several new models to Endurance Series, including the Peugeot 908 and Audi R10 diesel sports cars, the Acura ARX-01, the Saleen S7R and the Ferrari F430.

Guess all I can say is it looks pretty.

    Bring it on!!!
Great addition to a super mod.

  • DeDios

Looks really good but, (already notified in official forum) imho rear seems to be a bit too much squared and big. Real car on rear is more rounded, and less “imponent”.

@ Montoya – a small correction needed. Unlike the 430 Challenge and all the road going versions the GT2 car is powered by a 4.0 Litre V8 (due to ACO tech. regs.)

    This looks damn good.

GT cars are my favorite type of sim racing cars. F1 cars are usually too hard for me to handle (when set up realistically, without aids) and touring cars are a tad too slow for me. GT cars are pure enjoyment while still requiring some skills.

Therefore, when SP1 gets released, this mod might well become my favorite rFactor mod. I can then only imagine how good it will look and feel with rFactor 2.

    Keep it up guys!

Looks good. SP1 will fill in a lot of holes in the Grid. Look forward to it.

I think the UV mapping around the front bumper has to be fixed as the body gap on the texture looks wrecked on that area. And it seems there is a smoothing problem under the front vent, could be the polyflow(bumpy place).
