Endurance Series SP1 – Audi R10 TDI Previews

Team Enduracers have released a big batch of a major addition to their Endurance Series mod that will be released as part of Service Pack 1 – The Audi R10 TDI.

Successor to the Audi R8, the R10 TDI was Audi’s first-ever Diesel-powered Le Mans Prototype. The car proved to be a big success right from the start, winning three editions of the Le Mans 24 Hours, beating Peugeot’s 908 HDI FAP twice.

The first service pack will be introducing several new models to Endurance Series, including the Peugeot 908 and Audi R10 diesel sports cars, the Acura ARX-01, the Saleen S7R and the Ferrari F430.

    Personally I couldnt care less about a diesel, but this is some a-class modelling. F430 and Saleen for me! Really looking forward to the sounds almost as much as anything else with this mod.

    PS: Montoya, I also get that Vision Racer ad in the middle of the screenshots. Earlier it was possible to scroll up or down, but no dice now. (Win7 64 + Firefox)

    Same here. What I do is click my mouse wheel on the pics, so they open in a separate tab.

    +1 to the sounds. R10 sounds like a vacuum cleaner though :)

    And keeping in mind that the Pug is the last SP1 car to preview, I think it is not to far from a release. LeMans would be wunderful huh? 12th June… *isdreaming*

    Oh and btw. What I mentioned in their forum and what has not been talked about that much: Have you seen that they implemented the Supra light effects!? You can see it in the last night shots of F430 and Saleen… wunderful! :cool:

    yeah looks great. Using this new feature cars looks A LOT more realistic.

    It’s strange: the rims are not blurred while the tyres are.

    Looks like there’s still some work before release.

    @Lens: It’s all good. When you watch a replay of your endu-mod you will see that this is completely normal for this mod. They did so to enhance the visual effect of the rotation. :roll:

    Well, that’s a strange decision. Looking at those screenshots, my first impression is that it doesn’t feel right… Frozen rims with turning tyres… who said it enhances the visual effect of the rotation?

    Anyway, that’s just me being picky, it’s only detail.

    @LensFlare: To me it just looks more realistic this way, when they are in motion in game. Hmm, maybe you would like to state the question in their forum:
