Octavarium:
What I would like to know is how every man and his dog across the simracing world seems to know what constitutes ‘Better tyres’ when it costs $500 just to become a member of the FSAE tire test consortium let alone getting something similar from Michelin, Dunlop etc for a LM car – where is everyone getting their ‘tyre data’ from to draw conclusions about which are right and wrong?

Well first off the rfactor tyre model is simplified and does have some issues so its impossible to model a perfect tyre even if you were lucky enough to get data from Michelin. Second, The "tyre data" is largely an end result of real world mathematics - if you get the specifications of a tyre you can get an approximate of what that tyre will do. It wont be perfect and will be more than a little tedious without something like TREX but it will adhere to real world physics as much as the ISI engine allows.
Lastly, I was comparing the enduracers tires to iracing's corvette and EOAA GT. Since iracing has the most access to real world data I would expect it to be the most realistic, while EOAA used TREX to model the tires. Long story short, the ES tires deviate from both of these.

Because Octavarium, there are things a tire can and cannot do due to laws of physics. At the end of the day, it's still just some rubber with some air in it - regardless of manufacturer.

You magically tackle rude comments and educated criticism as if they were one and the same. Cause when someone says “physics suck” I realize that you can be annoyed, but “whining and whining on the same stories”? What’s that, the simple truth of what a tyre cyrve doesn’t look like?
So granted, they’re whinning pointlessly when it’s obvious that your dismiss their criticism, and you’re whinning that they’re whinning because you expect people to quit thinking that the tyre modeling is unrealistic just by refusing to agree or discuss their opinion.

Throttle blipping isnt the issue, you can turn on automatic shifting even but the cars will still have dodgy tyres.....
Btw if you really can't stand the tyre physics a quickfix is to copy over the tbc files from another mod with similar cars but better tyres. //Will cause mismatches

Well, if this explains much on negative comment,

The autoblip allows the driver to have an easier downshift with the car. It's an electronic device that adds an automatic blip on the throttle when the driver is downshifting, in order to synchronize the engine RPM with the transmission to prevent transmission lockup under braking.

Autoblip is only available, in real-life and in the mod, on prototypes P1 and P2. So for GT cars, GT1 and GT2, you will have to blip the throttle manually when braking and downshifting in order to keep the car balanced and prevent the rear wheels from locking up.

..right from the horse's mouth. It comes with a file named Readme_Endurance_Series_Mod.html

I don't have knowledge upon physics, just thought you guys might want to read EnduRacers info upon this subject. Now, if anyone else would like share his expertise in this particular area please do so, I'm very curious as well.
Just looking for a reasonable explanation

aj_1986: What I find weird is that the physics of the Endurance Series mod feel extremely realistic – challenging, yet rewarding with practice (unlike some mods which are just downright unenjoyably difficult, e.g. iDT’s IndyCar 95, a complete nightmare on the limit compared to RLD’s CART98), but then, as soon as you lose it, the car spins like a top (often 5 or 6 rotations from an otherwise relatively minor off) about its central point. Maybe it’s some kind of compromise to get the physics in normal circumstances to be accurate, I don’t know – I know nothing about this physics programming lark. The new previews look fantastic though. Like I said, the physics are great (until you overstep the limit) and the sounds will no doubt be awesome; I love the Acura V8’s scream, and going by the 1.0 mod release, Enduracers will definitely nail it (I’m sure my neighbours are sick of the (glorious) sound of the 997 RSR at full blast).

If it spins unrealistically then it IS unrealistic (=physics suck).

felipe: it’s sad to see that people like playing sim games but are not aware how those cars drive in real life.
I heard a Brazilian who drives for Ferrari in Le Mans talking on how those cars are difficult to drive, he said during a season you shouldn’t change cars simply because these cars are unpredictable and knowing what it will do before actually the car does it is how he corrects it he went on to say it gives you 1 sec after that it’s gone and no recovery. Basically he said he corrects the car before the actual situation happens.
So he was saying sticking to the same car all season is the best bet as you will get to know that car much better and if you change car you will need to relearn everything again.
I was amazed on what he said as it’s exactly how Endurance Series drive and as you get used to those cars you predict what will happen and correct it.
Imagine he was talking about one Ferrari what to say about sim racer who want to driver all different P1s P2s GT1s and GT2s!!!! I see all the time in the Brazilian GT Cup those guys loosing the back end of those cars so I pretty much am aware that the Mod plays like the real thing!

You can't make proper physics based on what someone says. Words are not enough to describe in detail on how a car reacts. Instead of using what someone says, the best physics guys (Niels Heusinkveld, Renato Simioni, Kangaloosh...) use their knowledge of physics laws to work out the values for the physics files. This means their cars drive like the forces of nature make the cars act in real life and not how someone THINKS how they should drive. And following a real driver's advice is often difficult because they don't know much about simulators. For them a mod like Enduracers may feel realistic because they don't know that it's really possible to do better. In contrast, the guys I named earlier know exactly what rFactor is capable of.

Car model looks good yet again, just hope for an improvement on the color matching for the skins.

If you are referring to white liveries being grey I agree 100%. But I guess its not a huge big deal since we have the templates we can make the new liveries on our own.

Funny thing is, well, you wouldn't know either Felipe.

I'm on the fence. A side by side comparison with the iRacing C6R (Which, is flat out amazing, and is done to probably the most realistic standards you can achieve with a commercial product) and the rF ES C6R is FAIRLY close.

Personally I feel the iRacing car was / is much more proper than the others. It has that same under-tired feeling the ES mod has, but not NEAR the same amount of sudden mass oversteer at random. Basically, it feels more like the way the Epsilon mod was. Simple fix, miles of improvement.

it's sad to see that people like playing sim games but are not aware how those cars drive in real life.
I heard a Brazilian who drives for Ferrari in Le Mans talking on how those cars are difficult to drive, he said during a season you shouldn't change cars simply because these cars are unpredictable and knowing what it will do before actually the car does it is how he corrects it he went on to say it gives you 1 sec after that it's gone and no recovery. Basically he said he corrects the car before the actual situation happens.
So he was saying sticking to the same car all season is the best bet as you will get to know that car much better and if you change car you will need to relearn everything again.
I was amazed on what he said as it's exactly how Endurance Series drive and as you get used to those cars you predict what will happen and correct it.

Essington (with Hudson's textures, which still are amazing).
