Great car list, but… What’s with mainstrem of the P1 and Gt2 classes… I mean – no Pug’s, Audi’s or Ferrari’s????? Its nice we got so many Astons to choose from, but…
not one F430???

Indeed, but this is the way we choosed to work in order to provide you cars faster. Do you prefer having 11 cars now and others after, or wait 1 year more and have all at same time ? We choosed the first proposition in order to provide you some stuff to enjoy.

You’re welcome, and no worries about that, you will soon get news about the SP1 features.

In that case I’m looking forward to the mod, and all the future updates in form of GT2-F430 and hopefully LMP1-Audi@Pug… THANX MUCH!!!!

I’m hoping for more LMP1 cars like Lola, Oreca, Pescarolo, Dome.

It would be kind of nice to see where all the models came from.
Everytime i see a mod anouncement that is in general a Compilation, you would expect to see a list of the model origins. Never the less a very nice mod addition to rFactor.
A very cool video i must say.
Montoya
June 15th, 2009 at 13:17
I´m pretty sure they´re all scratch-made Wix.

Rather than bitch about where their model has come from, it would be nice if you could finnish your mod, rather than starting on a format, that hasnt been released yet.

Nice! This mod will force me to go back rFactor, thanks Klo-Che et al!

samanthaUK: Get a live please !! First of all , my question has nothing to do with bitshing. I am just interested in who is doing what in the Sim scene’. As far as your second remark goes… Please grow up. It does not take allot to post some serious questions or feedback. Yet you dont seem to succeed .Enough said.
To Clo-Che: Thanks for the link. I did not notice it right away.

I dont mind missing a few cars, since there are more than one in each class from the go. Sim racing cliche -> Cant wait!

I hope too, we really need a good LM, even if it is only 91-96.

June 15th, 2009 at 21:41
yea me 2 i think there hasn’t been any changes of track from 96 am i right ?
Montoya
June 15th, 2009 at 21:44
Yes there have been. The most recent change came in 2002 when the so-called “Esses” right & left sweeping turn under the Dunlop bridge was added. Before, it was a straightline down the hill.
Another small change came in 2007 when Tertre Rouge was slightly reprofiled. But the biggest change would be the Esses.

June 15th, 2009 at 22:15
There’s a full history of the changes to the track at the VLM website: http://virtua-lm.com/lemans/history.php – click on the years to see the changes.
The mod looks absolutely fantastic and really professional-standard, can’t wait to get my hands on it! Sure it’s a shame that there are some cars missing, but I am totally with the team in thinking it’s better to release the mod in stages. Thanks for your hard work klo-che et al

Fantastic mod I only wish you could fix the mirrors that dont look right. THey show the same angle at left and right mirrors – too wide in my opinion…
DeDios
June 16th, 2009 at 10:12
yeah, i’m agree with people who want new version of La Sarthe Circuit. Actual versions are not so good, specially about mesh, and..the only one version WIP is Virtua_LM version (but Montoya is right, the actual is different than ‘96 version).
So, virtua, we need a ‘96-2010 version

Awesome looking screens and video guys!
Not trying to stir anything up but I was under the impression that the Panoz model is the ISI one rather than being scratch made?
DeDios
June 16th, 2009 at 17:07
yes, seems to be ISI model!
