Endurance Series Mod Review on Motors TV – Video

Once in a while, rFactor mods receive some well-deserved attention from media outlets outside the sim racing community. This is a particularly cool example as Enduracers popular Endurance Series Mod has recently been reviewed on Motors TV.

The mod was partnered in the channel’s 3D Motors programme that regularly reviews racing video games. Based in France, Motors TV is a 24/7 motorsport channel broadcasting both racing events and other car-related programmes. The channel can be watched by 15 million viewers across Europe, you can find the full review in French language below.

    These are great news :)

    I’ve always watched Motors TV in France when i go there on holidays and thought that program needed something more than console racing games. So it’s good to see a good mod like this one featured there finally.

    Motors TV also broadcast with English commentary, so the clip should be available in an “understandable” language too. ;)

    I saw this a few days ago, very exciting!

    At the same time, reading news about modders forced to close their sites because of legal issues, i´m not sure that´s the kind of attention modding groups would want.

    In actual fact it does not make sense. Why they would say that about other modding groups and not include Enduroracers in the group is beyone me. I am almost certain they (enduroracers) do not have permision from each car manufacturer to publish those cars.. I believe this is a non issue, as long as no-one profits from the mods themselves then it should not even be mentioned. If you charge for your mod then i say let the lawyers have thier day!
