Enduracers have released the readme file of their upcoming Endurance Series Mod for rFactor. The readme includes an overview of the mod’s features, RealFeel & LeoFFB settings and further info on the car’s physics.
Furthermore, the team has released showroom previews of all models included in the mod, from powerful LMP1 prototypes to GT2 machinery.
The first version of the mod has just finished beta testing and will include cars from the 2006 to 2008 seasons of the American Le Mans Series, the Le Mans Series, the Le Mans 24 Hours and the FIA GT. Following the initial release, the team will be working on service packs, adding further models and liveries to their mod.

I’m pretty sure they won’t actually have to bother with new liveries for these cars in future Service Packs, as by that time they will have been skinned in every way possible by painters all around the place.
Really looking forward to driving these things.

Sorry yes the Panoz is ISI model, 10 new models (some with different 3d aero) + 1 ISI one.

What means “driver swap suppurt”? I think it is officil rF bug that driver swap crash very offten no matter how you setup the whole rF or connection…did creaters of this mod solve this problem? If so…than I cant wait for it, because endurance on line races are the best virtual experience I´ve ever had

Wow, Im really exited, after the 2000 previews, we have a README FILE… Go foward with the mod, we will appreciate, much more than a readme file, or give us a wheel at least, but not the readme file, like the Michael Jackson´s funeral anounce. Everyone of the models are present at least in one rfactor MOD. GT_All, ILMS, FIA GT, PANOZ….Please dont be so misterious, I dont want to disapoint me as it happend with the NAGT MOD after 3 years.
I dont understand, but now, rfactor mods are recycling, in a plain desert, everyday another collage, when we will get news, and new feelings to drive?, or we will wait for the rfactor2, can somebody help me to understand this topic?

NAGT is very far from a disappointment. Sure the models aren’t top notch, especially the cockpits but that is the least important part of a good mod. It has very good physics and very good RealFeel support. You just have to drive it like a real car, as in, don’t rush downshifts and match revs “properly”. Most mods let you ram through the gears when downshifting which is very unrealistic. Also keep in mind that NAGT is based on Speed GT which runs on street tires. So you can’t abuse the tires. If you loop one of these things then you have to drive very conservative for at least one lap before the grip comes back. Most mods don’t simulate this as well. You have to stick with NAGT for longer then 10mins before forming an opinion.

July 6th, 2009 at 23:56
Alex, did you really just compare the crap in the gt_all mod to this? the cars in that mod are quick conversions of out of date f1c models…these are Hand crafted to every detail, and if you have any doubt about the physics go drive the Euskadi mod…

Great MOD, but even with leo or realfeel plugins, rFActor’s FFB doesnt feel good :S

RealFeel with proper mod and config wipes ALL sims including the over hyped iR FFB.

Why, why, WHY? Why do Enduraracers put so much effort and sacrifice their times and lives to give us such a ‘gift’? Why, why does Enduraracer’s, in spite of the ’spit’, do they care about us, the sim community? Why do Enduraracers take the criticisms with the class and grace that they do? Many of us though, respectfully and humbly accept and thank them for this ‘gift’ from their passionate hearts.

Alex what the hell are you talking about? Are you really that impatient? A readme file indicates the mod isn’t far away so you’ll just have to wait like everyone else. And what does it have to do with Michael Jackson and recycling in a desert…?! I hope Enduracers and other modders ignore and completely gloss over nonsensical, overdemanding posts like that. Good luck with the release, it looks like it’s going to be incredible.

Well, let’s concentrate on what’s more important: the mod.

Don’t worry guys, we do not pay attention to those. We love hearing from the community though. We share because we love the sport and everything about Sportscar racing. It’s a passion and we try and keep it that way.

Wow, seems as if this wonderful mod is almost ready for release—cannot tell you how much I have been looking forward to this!!
Judging by your Euskadi release, the attention to detail in not only your screenshots for this mod, but also your recently released “Read Me” notes….I have no doubt this will go down as the best mod created for rFactor!! You guys are the cream of the crop in my opinion and want to say thank you in advance for all your hard work.

Just for information, (I don’t know why you add the beta testing is finished), the beta testing is in progress, all the bugs are not all fixed at this time.
So read the readme with attention to be able to exploit the mod at full potential when it will be out.

That’s silly. Not to start a flame war, but I’m a RealFeel devotee, and iRacing’s stock FFB is better, especially when combined with the laser-scanned tracks.
If you’re basing your opinion on the Solstice, then you need to re-evaluate. That’s a road car, so of course it’s going to feel like a mattress on wheels. Drive the Formula Mazda at Sebring and compare it to the RealFeel FFB of Japan F3 in rFactor, and you’ll get my drift.
That said, I’m very much looking forward to this mod. Enduracers does rFactor work of the highest quality. Right up there with Historix, Niels, Team Players, CTDP and CSGT as the finest modding groups in rFactor.

For certain if any of my models from this mod end up in other Simulations i wont be making any more for public release.

July 7th, 2009 at 19:31
I think they probably will. I think Audi was encouraging Enduracers to do a conversion before some rip-off merchant does. The models are of high enough quality for conversion to be inevitable. But I would rather have an official one.

July 7th, 2009 at 20:30
I already enountered two WSGT rfactor conversions and both sucked big time. Outcome: Shift+Del, and waiting for the official one.
IMO, such conversions won’t be popular due to poor quality and therefore can’t harm EnduranceSeries community in any way.

Epsilon Mod is a hit and an A+ mod. So this should be a great addition to the short mod list of high quality mods. Thanks.

PK, I am referring to the DP in particular. It feels like a spring that wants to do nothing but stay centered and is WAY to heavy even with FFB turned way down. It is great for an arm workout but not very informative. iR seams to lack the self aligning torque that RealFeel has. It rips your arms off until you lose grip and then it just goes limp. Personally the Solstice has better FFB then the DP. I must be the only one that enjoys the Solstice Mattress. :)

July 8th, 2009 at 16:11
A GTR2 conversion is inevitable is the point I’m trying to make. You either give permission to highly skilled modders or see a low quality rip of your mod not living up to its potential. Your choice.
klo-che
July 8th, 2009 at 16:30
It’s interesting to notice that the point have gone so far away that now modders are almost obliged by the community to convert or to be ripped. Respect is a very lost word now. Anyone is worried about that ? The day all modders will have been enough disgusted, then rippers will have no more stuff to rip, lol.
Night has been enough clear, we are creating our mod on rFactor, so if any part of it is converted on another platform without autorisation from us, don’t count on anymore work coming from us. And it’s a final point.
It’s time for rippers to leave the community. Everybody knows them, but not one really act in order to make them stop their activities. The community can shut up and wait for rips or act in order to censor, ignore, forget illegal rippers, it’s up to everybody.

“If any part of it is converted on another platform without autorisation from us, don’t count on anymore work coming from us.”
Shame this great mod won’t be finished then. Why let these people who you eveidently don’t think much of affect your decisions? It won’t be ripped by me, but someone else definetly will. What a shame.

July 8th, 2009 at 17:02
Because we’ve spend lot of time on it, and seeing it stolen is a good way to remove all your motivation.
But no need to start a flaming debate again, this is current team opinion of possible rip of our mod, and it’s a final point. No need to argue more, we concentrate on finishing the job now.
HoW Monty
July 8th, 2009 at 18:00
So the messsage is, if you are going to rip it, wait until it’s finished.
(Joke) I take it from the release of this ReadMe, there are only a few days to go until release, this weekend perhaps? Also, will the cars in this mod run to actual specification or balanced nonsense for league racers who can make their own version if they want?
