I assure you they are not!
The drop dead giveaway is the cars going by:
In all sims and computer games to date the sound systems do not emulate enviroment. There may be applied general effects, but the effects are not dynamicly generated by the 3D enviroment. As a result the sound fades in linear and fades out linear when a car drives by. This is highly unrealistic. Especially the Murcielago is a great example. You hardly hear the car approaching, but as soon as it is beside you the noice is trying to rip you ears off.
So, not only is there the normal dobler effect like most sims allready have. But the fade in and fade out of passing vehicles are never linear.
Listen to the clip again and now you will notice that at least half of all passing cars have a none-linear fade-in fade-out, which the game does not feature. So either these are recorded static passes played in the game while in the pits or they are added to the clip, to make it sound more realistic.

I can assure you, you are 100% wrong, all car sounds in this clip were recorded from ingame.

No one is complaining about the mod,
the accusation of using real sounds could also be considered as a compliment :sd:

Why are people always so keen to nit pick and complain about a mod, rather than just appreciate the work that has gone into creating such a fantastic sounding mod…doubtless the rest of the mod will be the same.

Agreed - sounds great to my ears, a glorious mixture of rasps and rumbles...

ibyte_dk:
Why on earth would you mix sounds from real cars with the sounds from the mod. Makes the sounds from the mod sound even more plastic like. Maybe I’ve donw to much of this sound and physics editing, but it is clear like a spring creek when it is real life engine sounds and when it is the actual game.
I think it is really uncool to give people false hope like this. Unless they also clearly hear the difference. But judging from the comments, not many can!

100% of the car sounds you ear on the teaser are mod sound.

Try this. "The SCC mod and the Série Internationale Du Mans 2.77 mod will never ever ever ever be surpassed by any modders ever ever. No one will ever prove me wrong!"
