Endurance Series Mod – ALMS Carset Previews

Alex Koda is working on adding the 2009 American Le Mans Series cars to the recently released Endurance Series Mod for rFactor.

Below are the first renders of his skinpack, showing the Corvette C6.R, the Flying Lizard Porsche and the Team Falken Porsche.

    We were talking about making some official 3d scenes but well now it’s not needed anymore.

    Absolutely, sarcams of guy that spend years of hard working on his baby, that only made 1 request for the release, request witch was respect at 0% by the community. Disgusting.

    Oh, come on people, its only paint. Not that Endu. mod was stolen or used for commercial purposes. You guys are too uptight on what seems a very cool paint pack for this mod.

    I didn’t cracked anything, Im just a painter that found these 3D scenes over the web.
    What I found strange is that you have registered in my forum yesterday and instead send me a PM or an email about this “issue” you choose making public accusations without knowing the truth.
    Thats SAD!
    But don’t worry, Im not going to paint another skin for your mod.

    klo-che, I dont know how you keep some of your cool when you have to deal with shit like this, but please keep up the good work. I bet there is at least 100 people who silently enjoy the mod for every loud jackass along the way.

    Well i’ve tried but apparently i did not succeed. Anyway do what you want, it seems useless to try to defend our work anymore so i will stop.

    Alex Koda has been producing quality skinpacks for a while, and he really doesn’t strike me as the type of person who would do something like this without permission. Perhaps Klo-che could contact Alex privately, and discuss any outstanding contentious issues – to me it looks like a simple misunderstanding through a lack of communication. It would be a great pity to lose such a great set of cars which could only enhance the popularity of the Endurance Series Mod, and in doing so to dissuade one of the community’s more talented painters.

    I did read your post Klo-che, but my point wasn’t about the quality of Alex’s work – I was vouching for his integrity as an individual. You accused him of theft, yet he has stated that he obtained those scenes through other means.

    The work you’ve put into this mod is outstanding, and it’s personally one of my favourite mods – challenging to drive, and very rewarding to master. I have no prior motive in this issue, I’m just an ordinary guy who loves his sim racing and I’m just saddened when talented individuals fall out with one another so publicly.

    Please try and talk to Alex privately, and find out the details of what has happened. It really may just be a misunderstanding on everyone’s part.

    I really see no reason to outburst this issue, “cracked/illegal” as you may like to call it really isn’t much different from you playing with rFactor’s data files. Koda can only put your work into good perspective, believe it or not, the same happend to rF (your mod enhanced this sim alot) therefore us and Image Space Incorporated being thankful

    OHHHH FFS people. People like to render their high quality stuff and make it look nice and professional – and there is nothing wrong with that. Dont forget you guys have done renders yourself, AND released skinning templates. Something this silly just sickens me (Sure my physics thingy was one thing, THAT I get, but honestly…. I’ve NEVER have seen a mod group say anything about anyone doing high quality renders of their material, EVER.) But attitudes like I see reading this ensures I will NEVER publicly release another skin for this mod. It’s just a joke, and a bad one at that. It just isn’t worth the run around, oh well.

    Perhaps youd rather low res screenies that makes both groups’ work look like utter garbage. I would rather not.

    I don’t see him releasing the scenes. What he does on his own end is his own business. Heck, EVERY shot I’ve done of my Barazi Epsilon 07s has been done with my P2 physics. So what? Come shoot me.

    But, what ever. Both sides, keep up the good work and calm down. It’s just a game.

    We all know you want to protect your work, but all the people that know Alex, they also know he is not a ripper. He is a top quality skinner.

    So do your research next time “klo-che” before you talk about someone in public!!!

    I would just like to make it very clear that Alex Koda has not converted the Enduracer’s series to GTR-Evo and is not producing skins for any convertion of the Enduracer’s series for GTR-Evo.

    ok Alex Koda please accept my apologies on that I totally misunderstood it and already edited my upper post! I really hope things with Enduracers get sorted out and you can continue working on this mod with such high quality skins for the community’s sake!

    On a side note…

    Why would you put a C6.R GT (GT2) livery on a C6.R (GT1) car?
