Oh yea, I love all those “fictional” paints, I really wanted to see something like this. To be honest with 350 of them now, there is absolutely no problems with choosing the right one for yourself! :)

    • Chris Payne

      I can’t find a skin I like ;)

      • Anonymous

Have a look in the mirror, hope you like that skin ;).
Otherwise make your own, there is templates available for all endurance cars.
I’m only seeing the interiour of the car I drive anyway, just pick the colour you like most, from the drivers seat.

      • Anonymous

I think it’s more of a joke in there from Chris, though to be honest I usually like watching some replays and then I just like looking at something with nice colours on it. Sometimes I don’t even see the colour of the car I drive myself, like when I raced a bit of the 935 in DRM, I used to drive it in pink, just for a bit of laughs and maybe a slight distraction for the guys behind :)

Montoya thanks for a forum that allows like minded people to express their loves and hates of our hobby group!

      • Anonymous

You know, from hate can only come more hate. There is never a positive from misunderstanding or outright attacking people. Having a civilized conversation can only blossom into something interesting, taking it that way can only leave you with good feeling and maybe some new lessons learned. :)

      • Horrace L Foster

        Shame on you:)

Sttt, im talking softly.. and don’t shout…. “they” might hear us…
Lovin ‘it! Thanks a lot! pssst…

  • Brock Samson

Maybe with this released “they” might see how stupid only allowing their cars in games like NFS instead of proper racing sims is.

    • Shaddix

nope they see free-to-play as the future and not normal games anymore…
But it would be nice, if they see it.

  • Diego Colafabio

thank you so much Enduracers :)
Porsche, i think that you need to reconsider your policy about your brand license: AC, rF, pCars, iRacing, Reiza and Simbin titles are the future of the simulators: you can easily gain money and make happy many fans around the world.

Well Porsche does have a binding contract with EA at the moment. With that in place one could question how Porsche’s Global Corporate Structure is laid out. If all Porsche divisions are listed as one big company not much can be done but many car companies establish regional standalone headquarters with their own tax ID’s and divisional company names. Let’s say Porsche of North America. Since this car is being built for a particular region and titled and taxed in that region could those be licensed separately than say the European region built car. I see a potential loophole that Porsche could offer license for either Steering wheel on the right cars or Steering Wheel on the left cars and not break their contract with EA.

      • Anonymous

The impression that I get is that Porsche really don’t care about videogames, and are happy with the large sums that EA pay them. They extended the contract last year so they can’t be too displeased.
It’s a shame about the loss of all of the historic racers such as the 904 for simracers, but on the other hand it’s good for Ruf, who seem to be real purists.

      • Anonymous

If EA comes along and offers RUF a few millions for the exclusive rights on digital reproductions for videogames it would be the same story..

      • Anonymous

Licensing is a big topic for me and am very opinionated about it. I see it as one of the Achilles Heels for the industry that drives costs of development up while offering free advertisement for the Copyright holders of content being sought. At the moment I see some licensing as greatly out of proportional balance as to the benefit for all parties involved. I also am not big on corporate strong arm muscle that creates exclusive licenses. That is a big reason I give Turn 10 a big thumbs up for vacating the exclusive status for their Ferrari license.

Say it man Say it again and I hope they are reading this!

Thanx for not giving up on this mod.

Seems like Rfactor is having a resurgence lately.

    • http://virtualr.net/ F1Racer

      Yeah and isn’t it great ? :)

    • kenpat .

Between this and the Izod Indycar mod, you bet it is. Not forgetting the soon to come GTPC by Virtua_LM Junior Team.

    • gt3rsr

      rFactor never died nor faltered.

      • Horrace L Foster

Dude have you seen all the BS about rfactor? I keep thinking where the heck are all these idiots getting their information out of their cracks,I race on the net and some of the leagues using rfactor you are lucky if you can even get on the server, and then all the mods and then the guys are updating the mods. Richard burns rally, nascar2003,f1 challenge and rfactor will be around when some of the others will be dead and forgotten I cant say that there are some that I dont race, but are still going strong.

Haven’t played Rfactor for a couple of years now, not since RF2 beta’s release. People always moaning about the graphics on RF2 and FPS. I think the graphics on Rfactor are fine and the frame rate is usually above 150 to over 200 on high settings, so going back to Rfactor again is a “no brainer”, especially with the high quality of a lot of the mods.

    • Horrace L Foster

Yea it is specially for something that its fans would abandon it for all the new sims and games coming out, and I say why when we can race all of em just by buying. So many choices, its great to be me!

    • Derek Nickels

Probably cause it comes free in the box with the G27 wheel,

  • Hurdy Hurdy

If RUF can do it, why can’t modders?

It is for all intents and purposes a Porsche, with a fictional name.

  • http://virtualr.net/ F1Racer

Wow 350 skins. I stop playing Enduracers just for a moment and then they pull me back in ! :)

  • Professional Operator

I have problems on the download, can someone upload a torrent? It’s 1 gb.

  • Chris Payne

I keep reading this as Fiat 6!
thanks for the effort to all concerned

    • Mario Strada

      Me too :)

      • StarFoxySxv550

Fiat Strada, now there’s a mod I’d like to see.

  • Mario Strada

I have a quick question: I was trying to race the Flat 6 mod in Single Player the other night but I wasn’t able to find a setting where only Flat6 cars showed up on trackl. No matter what I picked, Prototypes were added to the field.

The same didn’t happen if I picked only GT2 or GT1 cars. Finally I ended up trying to race with the protos on track, but there were too many of them and too few Flat 6. Is there a trick?

    • Anonymous

In the area where you set the cars the AI can use, the Flat6 class is actually called ‘P997′ or something like that.

      I have no idea what P997 means… ;)

      • Mario Strada

Thank you. I’ll try it later

      • http://virtualr.net/ F1Racer

Also if you add this skin pack you will have a seperate series just for these cars too called Flat 6.

      • cpt obvious

        Porsche 997

      • Anonymous

SHHH!!! Don’t tell them we know that!!!

(P.S. I was just joking – I knew what it meant. I’m guessing you were just trying to live up to your name :P)

    • kenpat .

After you’ve installed the mod just pick the GTC class

  • Anonymous

Any chance you guys could do smaller pack?

like separated series pack so user can chose 30-40 skins to download.

  • Matt Orr

Wow… this might just top DRM for my favorite mod.

    • gt3rsr

This is an awesome mod with awesome physics but it still contains only one (although great) car. DRM has 6 great cars.

      • Anonymous

Wat? This is part of the Endurance Series Mod that has plenty of cars. All they are releasing here are skin packs

      • gt3rsr

OMFG, if he’s talking about the whole Enduracers mod, then obviously the situtation is different. I like the mod now, all cars feel much better. I can’t decide between this, DRM and HistorX.

      • Anonymous

You don’t have to decide… you can play e’m all!

      • Matt Orr

However, DRM also has the “problem” of rFactor “turbo” model, it’s the one downside of that mod which sadly is out of their control.

The “Flat6″ is just a blast to drive IMHO, I’ll take one amazingly amazing car over 6 really freakin’ amazing cars.

  • eifionevans

Is the Flat 6 series included in SP2.1 because installing the patch into my enduracers install screwed it all up and theres no sign of the porsches :) Guess I’l try the standalone

Don’t forget to change the category in the player customize menu. You need to select Flat6 Series for the cup championship

    Fabulous work, any templates? :)

I ran a lot of laps with the full mod in different GT 1, 2 and C cars and while I jump around a lot from title to title car to car the physics in this mod are just superb. While I understand the technology has to move forward I just don’t see much better than this. While I see all the new tire models from the different developers being developed I still think there is a way to go into perfecting the new technologies. There are maybe two teams ATM that are getting their new tire models near to where I would expect them to be. Still I am curious to see what some of the most respected mod teams working with ISI tech can come up with in regards to ISI’s new tire model. While I think great work has been put into the tire something is still missing. It seems the new ISI tire model does well in Fast Sweeping turns but fails in slow cornering. Similar to iRacing’s tire(opinion about iRacing’s tire not based on most current build).

For who want to simulate the real car driving set the steering wheel degrees to 540° and use the steering lock from 18 to 21

    • Justin Schmidt

thats a good value but not exactly like the real car since it has a variable steering ratio. the road car which uses the same steering rack but not limited in steering wheel rotation(972°) has a ratio of 17.1:1 at the center and 13.8:1 on full lock.

  • Giovanni Scala

For who want to simulate the real car driving set the steering wheel degrees to 540° an the steering lock to 18/21

  • noneofyourbusiness

    Thank you :)
