DTM 1992 for GTR2 1.0 – Released

Rokurace has released the 1992 DTM season for GTR2, adding one of the best seasons in German Touring Car history to the simulation.

The mod includes three different car models, the BMW M3, Audi V8 and Mercedes Benz 190E Evolution II make up a 34 car field.

The 1992 DTM season was dominated by Mercedes Benz and Klaus Ludwig who would clinch the series title at the end of the season. It was a remarkable year for the series as Ellen Lohr was the first and so far only women to win a DTM race in 1992 while Audi chose to pull out of the series mid-season following a controversy about the modified crankshaft for their V8 engine.

    Wow, looking nice indeed! Can’t wait to try ‘em out soon. Is the mod based on the Touring Car Legends mod or are they modelled from scratch?

    Not to beg all too much, but I’d REALLY, REALLY want to see the suceeding season, 1993, which had the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI, which is in my opinion one of the sexiest race cars ever. So if it’s not too big of a job, pleeeeeeease do the 1993 season too, hehe. Plus, if you then combined the too, you’d have 4 or 5 different car models to choose between. Now that’d be cool!

    MRS Productions put together and quietly released a DTM 94 mod for GTR2 a while back with the 155 in. Haven’t got a link, but Google should provide.

    No there is no patch. The only work around is to be sitting in the car on track when the sessions change.

    Put resolution to 800*600*3 and it wil work online, gtr2 dont support higher resolution’s online

    Would be great to see this in GTR Evo/Race 07.  Would fit nicely with the M3 and Alfa thats already in the game.

    The physics of the cars are a bit weak.. IMHO

    Anyway it’s fun to race the nordschleife with DTM92
