Driving rFactor 2 With A Direct-Drive Wheel

GamerMuscle continues his extensive test of the Sim-PLicty SW20 direct drive wheel, giving it a go with rFactor 2.

How does the much-discussed new high-end wheel technology trend influence the actual driving experience in rFactor 2? Watch below, the Assetto Corsa version of GamerMuscle’s test is here.

The wheel retails for 1021,99€, not including a wheel rim or pedals. More information on the SW20 is available here.

Funny to see a non direct drive wheel as topic photo.

The CSWB v2.5 wishes it was the SW20 , no need to crush it’s dreams. Be like spoiling Christmas for an 8 yr old.

Joking aside Fanatek rims are really nice and with luck we get to see there DD wheel soon.

At which point the CSWB V2.5 will be like an abandoned unwanted dog , put in a bag with bricks and thrown in a canal just outside of bermingham.

Please let me know exactly which canal will that be. Suddenly I have the urge to go fishing. 🙂

        <- has a Porsche 911 Carrera wheel

Took the rim off it before throwing it in.

        You monster.

Who knows it might combine with a shopping trolley and create a new form of life !

Fanatec wheel rims still delaminate and fray

Thanks for posting ! I’d like to apologise in advance for the damage to bank accounts these videos are likely doing.

Hey this kit is a steal of a deal! And more dependable then much of the competition that mass produces

A picture of the “Sim-PLicty SW20 direct drive wheel” would be more appropriate…initially seems like a Fanatec story. Just sayin’.
