I´ve finally found time to improve the single most popular page of this blog – The “Latest Downloads” page.
Even though it’s nothing more but a list of postings that contain download links, the page has been accessed over 1,6 million times already (geez!). Despite being popular, the list must have been a pain for everybody using it – Time to improve it.
The new download page works basicly the same way, it lists all stories that include download links. The new site is split into simulation categories though, categories can be opened and closed by clicking on the simulation logo.
Furthermore, downloads are split between tracks and mods, making it much easier to find what you´re looking for. To visit it, click “Latest Downloads” in the top navigation bar or here. Enjoy!

To be honest, I somewhat forgot about it too since put it up a long time ago and it was auto-generated from the content.
But if it’s that popular, it definately deserved an overhaul

Great! Although I never noticed that section either, hehe. What would top it off would be if the entries were sorted alphabetically :D would be even easier to navigate then.

Sorting them alphabetically would be no problem, I think most people rather have the most recent stuff on top – Or not?

New first would be preferable, perhaps the option to sort as required? Like newest first or size decending etc etc.

Yeah. On a second thought, perhaps date order is preferable. Cus then if you’d been away from the site for a while, it’d be easy to check up on new releases. :) So just leave it as it is, it’s all good!
PvtStash: sorting after size wouldn’t really be an option as far as I know, as the content of the subsite is generated automatically from the content. And it’s not every download that Montoya announces that includes information about file size.

Exactly Rasmus, information on the file size isn’t available in most postings.
To be honest, I don’t think that it would make much sense because I don’t think many users base their decision if to download a mod/track on its file size.
