Following the recently released ALMS 2007 mod, COLVIN35 has released another Le Mans-themed mod today: The Dome S102. The car has been scratch-made for GTR2, modeled by IBNE who’s work can already be found in the ALMS 2007 mod.
Built and entered by Japanese manufacturer Dome, the S102 continues the long line of Dome Le Mans prototypes. The S102 is a closed-top LMP1 prototype powered by a Judd GV5 powerplant, the car finished 33rd at its sole outing, the 2008 Le Mans 24 Hours.

Great “modeling”, but in my opinion is little too slow like R10 in default settings(~306km/h in end of mulsanne streight)

please REMOVE the above link, noone has authorized you to put the link up, the car was taken down because of an error found. It will be fixed today and uploaded again at my site. I don’t understand why noone in this community can just respect a modders wishes just once, and stop making seperate mirror download sites. This is the second time with this site, in less than 3 days links were put up, when I clearly asked them not to be. I ask this b/c I can control the fixes and not have to keep telling people why something works a certain way or doesn’t work at all. I can’ t fix things, when people keep asking the same questions about fixes that have already been taked care of, but they download a bugged version of the mod, b/c someone decides to upload it after they are asked not to.

Sorry, Colvin35, I appreciate your work but if I have to register every time I download a new mod, I would never get to play and my inbox would be loaded. So for this, as much as I would like it, I will pass.
Thamks anyway.

Hi Colvin34 and all,
Maybe, and without irony, you could use what we call version number … to avoid online mismatch.
But thanks anyway.

maybe you could download the only authorized version of the mod to avoid mismatches? That would be without irony as well.

As stated above Colvin, and even if you are not one of those, every time an asshole do a conversion, you have to register somewhere to download it … it’s boring and not very useful.
The version number stuff seem to be very used … couldn’t you have a try? Or you could do “beta’s” and release a finished v1!

As I stated in the above statement, the version at my site for the Dome is the ONLY authorized version. So if you download it from some downloads sites such as filefront, you most likely aren’t getting the authoized version. As far as having to register at every asshole’s site that does a mod, take it or leave it. I takes a modder months to years to create something for you to enjoy, for free might I add, and it takes you two minutes to register. If you look at my site, you’ll notice that the ALMS mod is a numbered version, so I don’t understand the complaint. If you want the correct version of the Dome, it’s at my site, if that is too much to ask you to register, I appoligize, maybe this mod isn’t for you.

Then, as you said your one car package is release for the alms mod and it’s not a stand-alone mod, and as we find the alms mod everywhere, it’s just totally stupid to split it.
Do what you want, we’ll finally have it without registring, as we have had the first version; and I am sure it will be even better … so thanks again and in advance.

what are you talking about, what is split? The Dome mod has nothing to do with the ALMS mod, the Dome has never raced in the ALMS and most likely never will. The Dome mod is 100% standalone, you need nothing else to run it, not even the ALMS mod. As for you downloading it, do as you wish, but don’t bother complaining to me when you have issues/bugs that need fixing, if you don’t bother downloading the proper version. As for this conversation, I’m done, as you don’t even log in under a user name, hiding your identity.
