Diepholz Airbase – Two New Preview Videos

SBELLOF has released two new preview videos of his Diepholz Airbase track for rFactor, showing us a Ford Sierra in action as well as full on-board lap in a Porsche.

Located in Lower Saxony, the Airbase is shared by the German Airforce and civil aviation. Once a year, the jets made room for Germany’s most popular touring car racers as the DTM hosted a annual season round at Diepholz from 1984 to 1996.

Together with Mainz-Finthen by Com8, the virtual version of Diepholz will enable sim racers to relive the glory days of the old DTM, an era that earned the German championship the reputation of being one of the world’s best touring car series.

    Never knew the DTM raced in Diepholz, it’s near where I live now. So I’m definately looking forward to this track :)
