CTDP F1 2009 – New Brawn GP Previews

CTDP has released new previews of their Brawn GP BGP01 model, part of their F1 2009 mod for rFactor 2.

Powered by a Mercedes-Benz engine and driven by Jenson Button & Rubens Barrichello, the BGP01 is the dominant car of the 2009 F1 season. Development of the car started way back in 2008, the result catapulted the former Honda F1 team from the back of the grid into a championship-leading position.

F1 2009 will be bringing all cars and drivers of the 2009 Formula One season to the upcoming rFactor 2 simulation, following CTDP’s famed F1 2006 mod for rFactor.

    I was just wondering, what happens if rF2 has visual deformation on the tyres and therefore requires wheels to be moddeled in it’s own unique format?

    Wouldn’t that make the work done in 3ds Max semi-redundant except for perhaps the texture work. :neutral:

    If they do that, there will be someone who says less old 1994 and more current season 09 please.

    Plus the 2009 season in game isn’t going to be boring like the real season. Its what you make it. The fact that you think its boring in real life (which I disagree with) has nothing to do with the mod. There is absolutely no correlation.

    Do you think if the 09 season is boring that the mod will be too ? That would be crazy.
