Oh, wait. it seems, from the link in your nickname, you are somehow related to MMG or in MMG. That explains everything. Again, complaints, no reason for that other than just not knowing how to accept critics or people not saying "thank you" in a very polite way... please...

F1Racer, I'm sorry, but I've searched on this list of comments and the only one I found is you telling someone to shut up.
Is there anything hidden in the middle of your comment that I can't see, that makes your comment positive or constructive? I only see a critics on someone, without saying any valid kind of reason. And you even tell that another member just criticizes everyone without reason, when I can see comments from that member that tell otherwise...

So... If you have anything useful to say, then say it, or else, it's you who can be quiet in your corner.

What about keeping your mouth close Mr Mitos. You seem to have criticism for everyone without making any positive contbributions of your own.

I would say completing this mod in 2 years is actually very fast. The models and textures look extremely good, better than any mods that we have now(at least in the screenshots.

Yanden, I know that U’re not a major company with millions of dollars(or Bank of America)like CTDP & others. I just want to know what about MMG F1 2008. By the way, I spoke to Luis, that MMG is quality mod team like and CTDP(see my first comment). But too much announces.

See what I told? Yanden has proven it.

At MMG everyone complains just too much. And that's not all. If there's something I hate is someone who "sacrifices himself" in order to do something and waits for people to be thankful and, if nobody says "thank you", they'll scream.

I'm sorry to tell this, and believe me, I appreciate (and I already said thanks on a blog and forum, the day MMG 07 was released) the work MMG does (except that they like A LOT to start new mods instead of finishing the WIP), but that's something that really annoys me.

STOP COMPLAINING, MMG Team! If you don't like what you do, then don't do it!! Don't expect people to say thanks, some will, some will not. That's humans. Yes it sucks. No, you can't change it.

Don't misunderstand me, MMG Team. This is a constructive critics. If you google it, you'll see much more information about what I just told

Comparing MMG with CTDP is insane. CTDP actually finishes the mods it promises and is responsive to the sim community instead of being petulant.

Mitos, so what if we announce mods? We announce them with the full hopes of delivering. We can't help if things go wrong. We're not a major company with millions of dollars of funding to be able to pay all our workers so they don't quit.

You know, CTDP have spent the last two years working their ass off for this mod. They've put work into this mod that we at MMG haven't put in on ours, and throughout the years of their developing people like you who bitch and complain about how long it takes is what ruins the motivation of mod groups. Instead of saying thank you CTDP for dedicating 2 years of your lives to create something special, regardless if its 2006 or 1956 mod, you sit here and criticise the year of the mod or the length of time it took. Jesus christ, you'd think that you paid them to make this mod or something the way you complain. This goes for the rest of you complainers too. What do you think mod groups owe you? They don't even have to release the mods to you.

It may seem a bit wierd seeing me defend CTDP, but before I began MMG into a more serious level, I was an RH and CTDP fanboy, it was their groups that inspired me to become a modder. I do not have the talent for modeling, or texturing but I had the ability to manage a group.

CTDP have gone through so much hardship over the last two years, and like MMG, they too have mods un-released. But so what? Why don't all of you stop looking at what has not been released, and start looking at the dedication and hard work that is being placed into this mod by CTDP simply for your enjoyment.

I myself would like to congratulate the CTDP team for coming closer to releasing this mod. I am anxious to try out the Midland as that is my favourite car in 06. The mod looks fantastic and I hope the physics will be the same. Keep up the excellent work guys.

Some people don't realise that the 2009 cars are going to be much much closer to the Monza specifications of modern era than any other version. And with CTDP providing the better quality + providing the Monza specifcation then its a good balance. Won't be entirely accurate to 2009 Specifications but will be alot closer to it than other variants for a while.

Thanks for the explanation

I have to agree with Dillyracer. If having a 2008 mod is having F1 RFT 2008, then it's better to wait...

Don't you prefer to pay a little bit more for a TV, if it's really good? Then why some people don't like to wait for a much better mod? Why does it have to be the latest stuff, but it will surely be worse? Patience is a virtue

I'm not a MMG fanboi, but you do talk out of your ass alot Mitos.

@Luis - The reason the Mclaren isn't using the new cubemap is that our old previous cubemap gave a much better effect. The new one made the car quite diffused, when it wasn't in the 'sun' lights projected path.

Yep, Luis. I spoke about MMG problem - they are announced mods without finishing previous. More that, they are going to do same years, like CTDP. They spend their(& our) time on rubbish. We dont need MMG F1 2007 ver.2.0, we need MMG F1 2008 ver. 1.0.

QUOTE:
Furthermore, the team is now working on other details such as the mod’s manual or a new cubemap which will be used on all cars except the Mclaren.
----------
Does anybody know something about this? Why will all the cars except McLaren have the new cubemap?

Actually, I think it's the opposite, FSONE is nice but it's much easier to drive than MMG07, I also think that MMG07 looks much better than FSONE. Then again, it's all personal preferences
