6e66o has created an impressive onboard video with CTDP’s Formula One 2006 mod for rFactor. Back in 2006, Michael Schumacher clinched his 66th career pole position at Imola.
CTDP’s Formula One 2006 mod will be bringing us all cars and drivers of the 2006 Formula One season including all liveries and aero-changes of every single race – The ulimate package for every Formula One fan.

Virtua_LM has released new previews of another stunning track creation for rFactor, showing us new shots of the Japanese Fuji Speedway in late 80s specification. Located near the famous Mount Fuji in Oyama, Japan, Fuji Speedway was opened in 1963. Even though Codemasters announced that their Formula One 2010 game will be revealed to the media on March 17th, first details have now been disclosed via the Official Xbox Magazine. MMG has released their Formula One 2007 mod for GTR Evolution/RACE 07, bringing a high-quality Formula One mod to Simbin's franchise. We won’t release this Imola version and we won’t give it out under hand as well. Internal conversion is one thing, we respect Simbin’s work and we’re using it for our testing purposes and that’s it.

CTDP are a quality modding team, and I appreciate the work they do for the community. But I sometimes wish they would direct their awesome talents at something else. Was there a huge difference between 2005 and 2006? Not really imo, as with 2007. The 00’s has been a pretty tedious era for F1. Are CTDP not working on an early 90’s mod? 94 or 91 I think? I would love to see them direct all their efforts on that mod.

You can choose between different sound sets, i dont prefer that one which was used in the video above.

We have 2 races left….
from the first season.
will will run a second season to be sure with everythin.
But 2nd season will be done faster, but no that does not mean that we re done after that.
All depends on 2nd season and beta tests.

@F1Racer – I’m not saying it will happen. But there is a good chance that Whata may be up to releasing his converison and update of the Imola track from RACE’07 now that Simbin allow such things as long as he provides a way of checking the result.
I’ll speak to him and give him a few nudges and then maybe we’ll see. But can’t gurantee that he will, he has periods ^^
