CTDP F1 2005 for GTR Evolution – Released

Posted on December 23rd, 2008 in

Mojo66 has released a new fix that makes the RACE07 conversion of CTDP’s Formula One 2005 mod fully compatible to GTR Evolution, fixing some bugs and adding a new class for the 2005 season.

Originally created for F1 Challenge and rFactor, F1 2005 is a comprehensive Formula One mod, including all cars and drivers of the 2005 season. Features include realistic physics and tire model, new sounds and much more.

If you already have F1 2005 for RACE07 installed, all you need to do is copy Mojo’s fix to your RACE07 directory. If you don’t have the mod yet, make sure to grab and install the RACE07 version first.

This game for F1 mods is not on the same league as RFACTOR very dissapointed indeed :sad2: will take alot of hard work to make this near the same kind of fun and realism as rfactor a big thumbs down from me , can only hope things improve over the next year or so. nice try though mate cheers for the work its the game not the CTDP mod

I think its also a fact that the 05 mod feels a bit dated now, especially now that we have the 06 mod. Would love to see that for evo! Good effort though

Sorry for such a newbie question, but how the hell do I install the CTDP F1 2005 cars to Race07? I unpacked the RAR file but now there’s a 7z file inside!

Yeah, I kind of figured that, but I don’t have anything that recognizes it. :(

I have gotten the files, and fought with this all morning, and so far, I have had no luck at all. I have the 2.0 file, the patch, and the 2.1 file. I extract with 7zip, drop the files into the respective folders, add the patch, then tried the game. In the cars section, I have the F105 category, and I pick a car. then every time I go to start practice or a race, it crashes to desktop, says send mini-dump to a developer. It also wants me to guess why it crashed. So far I’m guessing bad files, or install instructions are wrong. I tried putting in the 2.1 files also, same deal.
Anyone have idea’s to make this actually work?
