Nothing will happen, some people want to drive Sennas car I don’t think they should get disappointed.
The mod looks good so far, way to go CTDP!

Of course they’ll make Sennas car, they’re making this mod to recreate the 1994 mod season. They’ve stated that before, so I think they’re ready for “what” might come…
You’re being a hypocrite, Felipe. You seem to only think that only Senna died that weekend. Do you know of a guy called Roland Ratzenberger? He died too, how about his car and it’s presence in the mod?

I’m a brazilian I’ll take care of business I can so I think Austrians should do the same. The mod community in Brazil can talk with people we have contacts with and Team CTDP will have to be ready to be taken to court for recreating cars they don’t have license too and they have been warned about that so better the Austrians find a way to do whatever they think is right!

Dear Felipe,
we are aware of the sad weekend of 1994 in Imola but why wouldn’t we be allowed to create a mod to that season?! What makes it differen from 2004, 2005, 2006? Don’t you think that even non-brazilian people can be sad about the death of A. Senna & R. Ratzenberger?! But nevertheless they were part of the 1994-season, so we will have their cars in that mod (and now the best: we don’t break any licences because we create (not convert) free stuff without making money with it!). Why can’t you see it as a memorial to both drivers? Racing is what both loved to do, they must have because they knew the risc every time they left the pits.
Racers died in Monza aswell but still there is that track for rFactor, so why don’t you have a problem with that? Niki Lauda got on fire on the Nordschleife, this track is there for rFactor. Why don’t you have a problem with that? List can be continued…

Ok Felipe, if you think you should blame the team just because there’s a chance that a bunch of kids will stupidly make recreations of Senna’s accident in youtube, it’s possible that you’re too obsessive about it to do you any good, but please, keep your thoughts for yourself. I bet that many fans of Senna would see it as a tribute.
I’ll try to get past the ill reasoning behind your grievances when there are quite a few cars, tracks and wips out there in/at which people have been killed, some of them probably in your hard drive and the hard drives of what you call the Brazilian modding community and if you thought there was something fundamentally wrong with that, you would have stood to that principle allready, before Ayrton’s car made it’s appearance. But it gets even worse, you say you’re Brazilian so this is your “business” and it’s Austrians’ job to mind theirs. How pathetically nationalistic does that sound? I realize that you think of him as your man there but although it might sound as an unbelievable surprise to you, there are people who adored Ayrton as a driver and a personality outside Brazil, myself included, many of them still having an active interest in racing, some of them driving sims on their computers, some of them will give this mod a go without sharing your P.C. view of what car should be touched and what is a sick thing to do.
Besides, it would be fun to see the reasoning behind attempting to ban the rendering of a car (which is a totally legal thing to do) in court with arguments such as “It’s Senna, he was killed, Senna was Brazilian and we don’t want to see this car” in front of justice. Actually, it wouldn’t be fun, it would be an say thing for those who keep Ayrton in their memories. But no, you would say it should be banned because it’s copyright infringement, this car of all, without being the person whose copyright is infringed. Do you think that’s even possible? Of course everyone would find out the real reason behind this hypocritical attitude in a few minutes and would dismiss the case. Or your “I will take CTDP to court because I have ‘contacts’ in Brazil” (what are you, by the way, the mafia?). Obviously you haven’t given all this too much thought, have you?
