CTDP F1 1994 – First Pacific PR01 In-Game Previews

CTDP has released first ever in-game previews of their Formula One 1994 mod for rFactor, showing the Pacific PR01 at Monaco.

This is the first ever test of the car in rFactor, the model is still sporting a temporary helmet, textures and other details that will be refined later.

Powered by a V10 Ilmor engine, the PR01 was the maiden car entered by Pacific Grand Prix. It was driven by Paul Belmondo and Bertrand Gachot and scored zero points in 16 races during the 1994 season.

F1 1994 for rFactor will let you relive one of the most remarkable seasons in Formula One history, a year that provided both thrilling racing and heartbreaking drama – From Interlagos all the way to Adelaide.

    I looking forward to this mod. CTDP is always setting high quality standards when they release a new F1 mod.

    But one thing: I think the rims are too shiny. It should be okay for a showroom but not on track if you consider the brake dust caked on the rims during a long race. Remember the white Benetton rims in the second half of the ’94 season. They all went black due to the brake dust.

    Keep on working CTDP – I can’t await this mod.

    I HAVE rF and everthing which are released since NFS1 … shall I recite them ??? I bought it in 2005, on the release date day … so … I CAN compare them … in contrast with you :cool:

    Your 100% correct. Those are racing [b]games[/b]. But I prefer sims rather then button beaters.

    BTW, most of us poor folks here have also owned every game since NFS.. But many of use go back even farther then that. :lol:

    I really like the fact that they aren’t focused on just putting front grid cars previews, but all of them get the attention :) As usual, great work CTDP!

    And look at The Stig behind the wheel. Poor guy forgot to put his helmet the right direction :sd:

    This is the mod I’m really waiting for! CTDP are the best for F1 mods and 1994 was a great season, even if it started with two tragedies.

    Why is it a 1.8m wheelbase car instead of the real 2.00m wheelbase in 1994? It looks too skinny.
