CTDP AFD 1994 1.0 – Released

CTDP has a reputation for releasing high quality mods that push the limits of every simulation. Instead of just producing great looking models and crisp liveries, the team has taken a new route for their AFD 1994 project.

The mod not just simulates the 1994 Formula One season, it gives you the sensation of being right back in 1994 – Experiencing sim racing how it has been back in the good old days.

Features:

  • 2 high detail model of 1994: low and raised nose
  • All teams of the season 1994
  • No track liveries at all!
  • Blurry, barely unrecognisable helmets, which only serve the illusion!
  • No new physics and barely any tyre physics
  • 3D tyres that spin!
  • Menu with 256 colors!
  • Fully skinnable with any GP2-texture ever released!

    HAHAHAHAHA thats brilliant! One question though, in 1994 were we playing on Sega Genesis or Nintendo NES? I had an awesome F1 game for my Genesis way back then, got me into F1 as a kid. It had tracks that would narrow down to one lane in the middle of the straight, made for some interesting racing :-)

    BTW thanks for not trying to re-invent the wheel with these, literally :sd:

    i found a little bug, in the “low nose” cars, front wing, left side from inside have no texture… but who cares :P

    Acutally, I like that mod :D It was GP2 which really got me into simracing, and I made dozens of skins back then. Guess, that’s were i fell in love with skinning. So that mod really reminds me off that time. Nice one :)

    btw i love those tragicly less than minimum textures and those angles on sqaure wheels , but you can say one thing – FPS are VERY HIGH

    I’m not retarded. And I’m not one of those impatient punk kids who sit there and bitch about a mod taking “too long” to complete, so there’s no need to tell me that I’ll get it when it’s done. I was professing my interest for the finished version, that doesn’t mean I don’t have a grasp on humor.
