Croft for rFactor 2 – First Previews

feels3 is one of the first people working on new tracks for ISI’s rFactor 2 as he’ll be bringing the British Croft track to the brand new simulation.

Below are the first previews of the track, showing some in-game material alongside a texture preview and the track’s loading screen.

Located in Dalton-on-Tees in North Yorkshire, England, Croft is a popular British motor racing circuit. Located on a former Royal Airforce airfield, the track is 3.4 kilometers long and includes 12 turns. Croft hosts both four and two wheel racing, including the British Touring Car Championship and British Superbikes.

    My local circuit which just so happens to be one of my favourite tracks too – provides such a different challenge in every sector! Can’t wait for it. :)

    Brilliant…my nearest track. Went to Croft for one of those ‘Racing Car Experience” Days for my Birthday, best time I’ve had in a while, so can’t wait to give this a try in rFactor 2. Keep up the good work!

    Your texture work is very iRacing, really impressed. Think it shows the potential rF2 has. Once all the bells and whistles are running it will look mighty good.

    Wow you only need some pre-alpha wip shots to say that. What exactly looks so outdated? too little blur? bloom? bling-bling?

    Regarding Snetterton set a race start time of 4:30pm or 7:30am, it looks like a GT5 track almost, nice work guys
