The_Lonely has released various new screenshots of his Jerez de la Frontera track project for rFactor, showing the recently-added pit-area buildings at day and dawn.
Based on Virtua_LM’s Jerez track for F1Challenge, The_Lonely’s track is just a conversion by name as it has been completely overhauled. That includes a relofted road, new track objects such as fences and trees as well as brand new textures by SLN, resulting in the stunning quality The Lonely stands for.
Located in the Sherry-producing region in south Spain, Jerez has hosted a wide variety of motorsport events since the circuit’s opening in 1985. Hosted events include several Formula One Grand Prix as well as an annual MotoGP round.

Ethone has made some great progress with bringing the 2009 version of Road America to rFactor as he has released a bunch of new preview shows, showing off some of the track’s buildings and bridges.
Located in Elkart Lake, Wisconsin, Road America is considered to be one of the finest road racing facility in the United States. The 6,5 kilometer track offers an interesting mix of ups and downs, long high speed straights and fourteen corners, including the famous carousell. The track accommodates up to 150,000 spectators and is one of the few US tracks suitable to host a Formula One Grand Prix.
The HistorX modding team has released a new preview snipped of their upcoming Historic GT & Touring Car 2.0 mod for rFactor, showing us some a spyshot of a mystery car, practicing in Le Mans.

Using GT Legends as a base, the Historic GT & Touring Car mod for rFactor proved to be one of the most popular releases for the simulation. The second version of the mod will be made up completely of scratch-made material, bringing several famous historic racing cars to rFactor.
Ever since the service started in 2008, rFactor Pro has quickly gained a reputation for being a very valuable software tool for professional racing teams and F1 outfits in particular.
The Force India Formula One team has recently jumped on the bandwaggon, making it the fifth F1 outfit to use rFactor Pro to improve their race cars. That means that half of the 2009 Formula One grid is now using the software.
“The 2009 season rule changes meant aerodynamics was our number one priority. When we started budgeting for the 2010 season it became clear that driver-in-the-loop simulation was a technology we had to take advantage of to build on our achievements this year”, Force India’s James Key explained.
“We have been watching the driver-in-the-loop simulation marketplace very closely over the last two seasons, during which time the quality has improved and the costs have reduced by an order of magnitude. It also provides higher quality visualization and a more comprehensive simulation environment than any other system we evaluated.”
F1-S-R has released a bunch of preview shots of their Formula One 1993 mod for rFactor, giving us a first glimpse at the Williams FW15C and the Ferrari F93A.
1993 was the final season to allow driver aids such as active suspension and anti-lock brakes, the season was dominated by Alain Prost and the Williams team, clinching both the driver and manufacturers title.
International Pro-Modding has released an official video trailer for their upcoming FSONE Formula One 2009 mod for rFactor.

Located near the German city of Mainz, the former US Army Airfield was used as a DTM venue from 1984 until 1990. Com8’s version will be modelled after the 1989 version of the DTM event, once completed the track will also make its way to GTR2 and GTR Evolution.

Located 30 kilometers outside of Brisbane, the 2.40 kilometer track incorporates 8 turns. After hosting two occasions of the Australian Formula One Grand Prix and many years of Australian Touring Car Championship competition, usage of the track is now limited to club racing with a maximum noise of 95db.
Elwood and mad-horse have released a new version of their Varano de’Melegari track for rFactor and GTR2, further improving what already was one of the finest tracks for gMotor 2-based simulations.
The new version brings the track to 2009 spec, including plenty of new 3D objects, new shaders and textures as well as a new short layout.

Also known as the Autodromo Riccardo Paletti, Varano de’Melegari is a 2.374 kilometer permanent road course, primarly used by smaller series and for track day events.

Launched in 2009, The FIA Formula Two Championship is meant to provide young drivers with a chance to compete in top-tier motorsport.The series uses a standard chassis built by Williams, the cars are powered by Audi engines that put out 400hp.
The cars offer a boost-feature that extends the car’s power to 450hp for up to six seconds, ten times during a race. The young series made headlines for all the wrong reasons when young John Surtees suffered fatal injuries during a Formula Two race at Brands Hatch earlier this year.

iRacing has released first screenshots of Brands Hatch, the second European track to make it into their online racing simulation.
The shots show the track as it's currently undergoing the development process, including the laser-scanned surface and the buildings around the track's main straight.

Driven by Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen, the F60 was Ferrari's take on the new rules introduced prior to the 2009 Formula One season. Despite being equipped with the promising KERS system, the car failed to make an impact on the world championship.
