From Bariani comes the GT3 Brazil mod for GTR2, bringing us the Brazilian GT3 Championship. Like other national GT3 championships, Brazil’s national GT series includes cars such as the Ferrari F430, Porsche 997, Ford GT and Lamborghini Gallardo.

The mod includes all 1 cars of the 2008 Brazilian GT3 Championship, participating drivers include Formula One legends Emerson & Wilson Fittipaldi. The mod is very detailed, including all helmets and physics based on researched data.

Even though there have not been much news lately, the creators of the V8 Star mod for rFactor and GTR2 have been busy as two new renders of the VW Passat silhouette race car have been released.

Once completed, the Passat will join the Jaguar, BMW, Ford and Lexus silhouettes on the grid that made up the V8 Star racing series. Powered by Roush V8-engines, the V8 Star series provided thrilling racing action with equal cars that resembled various popular road car shapes.

After a while with no news, Albe89 has posted new previews of BurnOut Modding’s FIA GT3 2007 Championship mod for GTR2.

A few new cars have been finished, including the Ford Mustang and the Aston Martin DBRS9 entries of BMS Scuderia Italia and Hexis Racing.

Djjb has released the final car previews of his Total 24 Hours 2008 of Spa Franchorchamps mod for GTR2 as the full field of the 2008 even is complete, missing only the Ascari KZ1. Since the GT3 car is not available in GTR2, Djjb sees no point in waiting for a proper model to surface.

Below are the final two cars to make it into the mod’s grid, the Juniper Racing Porsche 997 GT3-RSR as well as the S-Berg Racing Lamborghini Gallardo, courtesy of JPBS.

TopGun is working on a 2.0 version of his popular FIA GT 2006 mod for GTR2. Cornerstone of the new version will be a brand new Ferrari F430 GT2 model made by Dave Sharp.

From kiwisteve and sunalp2 and comes the Historic Trans Am Mod for GTR2, adding historic Trans Am series action to the simulation.

While the Trans Am series was well known for its exciting V8 battles, the series also featured a class for smaller racing cars under two litres such as the Fiat Abarth, Alfa Romeo GT and BMC Mini Cooper.

The mod is based on the models of GT Legends and includes both classes, so both fans of muscle cars and smaller touring cars should enjoy this one. The mod comes with six different championships as well as RMi’s rear gear mod to select differential ratios.

Djjb has posted new previews of of his Total 24 Hours of Spa Francorchamps mod for GTR2, showing mainly GT3 cars such as the Porsche 997 GT3-Cup and several Ferrari F430 GT3s.

The mod is rapidly heading towards being finished as almost all cars of the 44 car field have been painted.

DjKane has released a new batch of renders, showing several cars of djjb’s Total 24 Hours of Spa Francorchamps mod for GTR2.

The renders include the CR Scuderia and BMS Ferraris as well as two Mühlner Motorsport Porsches. The mod will contain all 44 cars that competed in the 2008 edition of the prestigious 24 hour race.

Djjb’s Total 24 Hours of Spa Francorchamps 2008 mod for GTR2 is getting better and better. All but five cars are finished and djjb has now shown first previews of the Spa Francorchamps 2008 track that will come with the mod.

Based on GT Legends’ Spa version, steveb of MMG has included the 2008 track changes such as the new Bus Stop corner and the wider La Source hairpin. Spad has converted his work to GTR2 so that the mod’s 44 cars can race on an accurate track.

After quite a while with no news on the Dutch Supercar Challenge mod for GTR2 by the Belgian Dutch Skinning Team, here’s something new as two new Porsches for the mod have been finished.

Lammertink Racing has entered the two Porsche 996 GT3-Cup in 2005 and 2006, competing against an exciting mix of cars which make up the DSC field.
