The first teaser video of the Super GT 2009 GT500 proved to be quite popular and here’s more on the project.

Made by Alless & United Racing Group, the mod will bring all GT500 class cars of the 2009 Super GT season to rFactor and GTR2. That includes the Honda NSX, the Nissan R35 as well as the Lexus SC43 0,all battling for the title in Japan’s popular GT championship.

Formally only available for GTR2, the new version will also be making its way to rFactor, bringing the popular Japanese sports car series to the simulation.

BurnOut Modding have released their 2007 FIA GT3 Championship mod for GTR2, adding the second season of the popular GT3 championship to the simulation.

The mod includes 47 cars from the 2007, including 9 updated or new car models – Including cars such as the Dodge Viper CC, the Lamborghini Gallardo and the Corvette Z06R.

All cars come with brand new, scratch-made physics, reflecting the closely-balanced competition the GT3 series allows.

Merlin75 has released his Ford GT mod for GTR2, bringing Ford’s latest road racing car to the simulation.

The mod includes the Ford GT in three different specifications, covering both the FIA GT1 and GT3 version as well as the GT2 car that competes in the American Le Mans Series.

Included are many real-life and fictional liveries as well as templates to paint your very own version.

The German Modding Team is working on bringing the current VLN season to GTR2, adding the spectacular mix of touring and GT cars that race on the Nürburgring Nordschleife to the simulation.

Below are the newest previews, showing the recently finished Porsche 997 GT3-Cup model. The GT3-Cup is a popular car for VLN competition, racing in its own class. The previews show the car in two liveries, including the Music Monster livery that Uwe Alzen Automotive used when finishing fourth in this year’s Nürburgring 24 Hour race.

 

The Super GT mod for GTR2 has already brought numerous cars of the spectacular Japanese racing series to the simulation and the team is working on more to come.

Following first previews a while ago, the German Modding Team has now released new previews of their Alpina B6 GT3 model for their VLN2009 mod. We get to see the car with full night lights on, including a shot of the car’s interior.

VLN 2009 will bring plenty of cars from the Nürburgring Endurance Championship to GTR2, including plenty of Porsches, BMWs as well as brand new GT3 race cars such as the Audi R8 GT3 LMS and the Alpina B6 that all go racing on the Nordschleife.

 

While rFactor has two very popular plugins that improve the simulation’s Force Feedback effects, GTR Evolution and other Simbin simulations rely on the sims’ own effects.

This changes now as Freejrs has spend plenty of time trying to come up with more realistic FFB settings optimised for the Logitech G25, the most popular sim racing wheel.

His new settings promise to deliver more mass transfer feedback instead of solely relying on feedback from the tires. Steering damper and friction effects have been removed to allow feedback from the tires and the suspension without distortion.

The new effects are available for GT Legends, GTR2 and RACE07/GTR Evolution. If you tried them, why not leave others some feedback about the result?

Kiwisteve has released the Porsche Supercup 2009 mod for GTR2, adding the popular Formula One support series to the simulation.

The mod includes all cars and drivers of the 2009 Supercup season, including guest drivers. Furthermore, the mod includes helmets and talent files for all drivers, no other mods are required to run it.

Below are new previews of Merlin75’s Ford GT project for GTR2, showing renders of the Raeder Motorsport Ford GT3 as well as first in-game shots of the cars. The mod will include both the GT1 and GT3 version of Ford’s newest supercar, the mod will contain plenty of liveries from a variety of series.

Built by Matech, the Ford GT is racing in two different classes. The GT3 version of the car made it’s debut in the 2006 FIA GT3 Championship season, a GT1 version for the FIA GT championship followed 2008 .
