The Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 for the FIA GT3 2007 mod for GTR2 is making good progress as [A-A] PHR has finished modelling the bull from Sant’ Agatha.

The car will now be put in the game by Albe89 of BurnOut modding where it will join the pack of GT3 machinery.

Here`s a pleasant surprise for all GT racing lovers. Nicolas of Team LMP has announced that they have received permission from the original authors to convert the 1997 FIA GT mod from F1 Challenge to GTR2.

Apparently, the conversion has already seen quite some progress as the team has kept this project a secret. The release is planned to happen “very soon”.

The 1997 FIA GT mod brings one of the most exciting eras of sports car racing to GTR2. At the end of the last century, several major manufacturers joined the series and fought exciting battles for the sports car crown. In the end, the big money ruined the series but while it lasted, the FIA GT of the late nineties was one of the best sportscar series ever.

After making its way to rFactor, the BMW M1 Procar 1979-80 mod by BITDT is now available for GTR2 thanks to scca1981.

The mod brings you the legendary BMW M1 as it was raced in support of Formula One, driven by many legendary drivers including the likes of Hans Stuck, Nikki Lauda and many more. It includes two seasons of the Procar championship, giving you plenty of bimmers to choose from.

RMT’s Wix has completed his stunning work on the cockpit textures of the McLaren F1. The legendary BMW-powered GT car will be part of the World Super GT mod for GTR2 along with plenty of other mouth-watering GT machinery.

Ayaxr has taken out the Nissan GT-R for a spin at Mid-Ohio, testing the car’s physics. The two GT-R’s are joined by a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640.

Even though the Nissan can’t match the Lamborghini’s V12 power, the Japanese sports car easily win in terms of breaking, cornering and traction.

The Belgian Dutch Skinning Team is working on the Dutch Supercar Challenge for GTR2 which will use many of GTR2’s stock cars as well as some new ones.
