Racing Line Developments has been quietly working on their CART Factor mod for rFactor, releasing a single new preview shot to remind us that their project is still very much alive.
The shot shows the cockpit of a Lola at Laguna Seca, one of many CART cars that will be included in their mod. CART Factor will include the 1997, 1998 & 1999 CART seasons, featuring legendary drivers such as Juan Pablo Montoya, Michael Andretti and Bryan Herta.
To shorten the waiting time until the full version is out, make sure to give the Prologue version a try that was released back in December.

The Prologue mod is close to the finest in rFactor, so any progress towards a league-friendly version is welcome.

Omg the quality, it’s like CTDP meets GSMF.

This cockpit is awesome, it looks real
Great news, the Prologue mod is one of the best mod ever made for rFactor imo, the full mod should be mind blowing if they can correct the little physics defaults (cars scrapping a lot at high speed, and following another car takes off too much downforce)

100% agree…
Along with the GP79, are the best open wheel mod.

Great! Question:
You will release 1998 season on the first release. 1997 and 1999 seasons will be released later as service packs?

Probably the only mod I can handle in cockpit view. The drivers head lifts up under brakes so you see more of the corner.
The suspension does not shake the driving view too much. And it just feel’s awesome.
The CTDP is a classic, but the driver is too low in the cockpit sometimes, so you cannot see the track.
