Team Players, known for their F1 1955 and Grand Am mods for rFactor, have announced a new track project as the team is working to bring the world’s first ever purpose-built motorports venue to rFactor.
Located in Surrey, England, Brooklands opened in 1907, providing the first permanent setting for motorsports competition. The 4.43 kilometer track was closed in 1939, below are first previews of the rFactor version.

Even though Codemasters announced that their Formula One 2010 game will be revealed to the media on March 17th, first details have now been disclosed via the Official Xbox Magazine. MMG has released their Formula One 2007 mod for GTR Evolution/RACE 07, bringing a high-quality Formula One mod to Simbin's franchise. After being busy with other track projects for quite a while, Com8 has released some new previews of a very much anticipated track for rFactor - The Nürburgring Nordschleife 2009. Based on the original Simbin version, Com8's 2009 version will contain many changes such as new textures & shaders, remodelled curbs, the removal of all fictional advertisement boards and lots of trackside objects. Following the two betas released a year ago, Team Players have released the final version of their Grand Slam mod for rFactor, bringing the DP class of the 2006 Grand Am Rolex Sports Car Series to the simulation. The mod includes four different Daytona Prototype models made by Riley, Crawford, Fabcar and Doran. The cars are powered by various V8 engines from manufacturers such as BMW, Porsche & Lexus. Great! a proper version of Brooklands! And is looking good indeed. I can recognize that car also, but i think Team players never introduced it before. What a nice surprise :)
