Brno 1.1 – Released

[dd]Baule has released an improved version of his Brno for rFactor conversion, version 1.1 fixes some texture problems in DX7 & DX8. Based on Brno for GTR2, the track has been equipped with a new AIW, new cameras, working nightlights and some new textures .

Officially known as the Masaryk circuit, the 5.4 kilometer track hosts popular series like the FIA WTCC, FIA GT as well as A1GP and Moto GP races.

Since this track is a conversion of GTR2, the release is equipped with a check to make sure you own a legal version of Simbin’s GT simulation. If you don’t, you won’t be able to use this track.

rFactor 2 – Six User Interface Screenshots

Jessica, Darin & Shaun of InsideSimRacing.tv were recently joined by Image Space Incorporated's Gjon Camaj who visited the guys for an interview in an upcoming SRT episode. ISI's head-honcho did not come empty-handed though as Camaj showed off rFactor 2's user interface for the very first time. Below are six screenshots of the interface, showing off what looks like a major improvement over rFactor's much criticised UI-system. Furthermore, Camaj confirmed that ISI is still aiming for a 2010 release of their much-anticipated simulation, more on rFactor 2 will be coming up in the next episode of SRT. VLN 2009 by Team NLC – Massive Batch of Renders

Markus & Valiante have released their Formula One 1985 mod for rFactor, bringing one of the most spectacular F1 seasons to the simulation. The mod includes almost the full field of the 1985 season, only the Alfa Romeo 184T & the Renault RE60 have not been included. Fuji Speedway by Virtua_LM – New Previews

Virtua_LM has released new previews of another stunning track creation for rFactor, showing us new shots of the Japanese Fuji Speedway in late 80s specification. Located near the famous Mount Fuji in Oyama, Japan, Fuji Speedway was opened in 1963. The track was a popular venue for sports car races as the track was part of the FIA World Sports Car Championship for Group C prototypes from 1982 to 1988. Audi R15 TDI for GTR2 1.0 – Released

Alless has released his Audi R15 TDI for GTR2, adding Audi's current Le Mans Prototype challenger to the simulation. Introduced in 2009, the R15 is Audi’s second Diesel prototype for the Le Mans 24 Hours. The V10-powered car won its debut outing at the Sebring 12 Hours but failed to match the speed of the Peugeot 908 at Le Mans, making it Audi’s first LMP since the R8 that has not won the 24 hour classic at its first attempt.
