Brno 1.2 – Released

[dd]Baule has released an improved version of his Brno for rFactor conversion, equipping the track with new textures, improved shadows and plenty of other fixes as listed below.

Changelog:

- new textures for trees and grass
- fixed some flickering trees
- fixed AI not slowing down before entering the pitlane
- improved shadows
- gravel pits now have more realistic resistance
- moved the timing-objects in the right position
- followed Niels_at_Home’s plea and changed the relevant *.tdf-values
- made a new installer, finally including all GTR2 versions (Thanks go to CoDan!)
- fixed some minor issues

Officially known as the Masaryk circuit, the 5.4 kilometer track hosts popular series like the FIA WTCC, FIA GT as well as A1GP and Moto GP races.

Since this track is a conversion of GTR2, the release is equipped with a check to make sure you own a legal version of Simbin’s GT simulation. If you don’t, you won’t be able to use this track.

Uh… after trying it, I see that the downloads break just before starting: I thought you were referring to the loading of the page.

Fantastic. The only thing that irritated me was the constant light flickering bug that plagued the earlier versions, and that seems to be fixed. Yayays.

Com8 Nordschleife 2009 – Five New Previews

After being busy with other track projects for quite a while, Com8 has released some new previews of a very much anticipated track for rFactor - The Nürburgring Nordschleife 2009. Based on the original Simbin version, Com8's 2009 version will contain many changes such as new textures & shaders, remodelled curbs, the removal of all fictional advertisement boards and lots of trackside objects. Grand Slam 1.0 – Released

Following the two betas released a year ago, Team Players have released the final version of their Grand Slam mod for rFactor, bringing the DP class of the 2006 Grand Am Rolex Sports Car Series to the simulation. Targa Florio for rFactor – Lots of New Previews

6e66o has released a new batch of preview shots of the Targa Florio conversion project, showing us two edited and plenty of unedited shots of the legendary Italian track in rFactor. The Porsche 904 featured in the shots has been made by HistorX, creators of the Historic GT & Touring Car mod for rFactor, who have recently announced a co-operation with the Targa Florio conversion team. Rouen les Essarts All Platforms – Released

Virtua_LM has released GT Legends, GTR2 and RACE07/GTR Evolution versions of their popular Rouen les Essarts track for rFactor, bringing the spectacular historic race track to Simbin's most popular simulations. The legendary French circuit is a high speed semi-permanent racetrack, famous for its fast sweeps and the brickyard hairpin. rFactor 2 – Plenty of New Previews

Three months after showing us the last two of rFactor 2 screenshots, Image Space Incorporated has released a bunch of new preview material of their upcoming simulation.
