I would not like to see all BTB tracks put in the same basket. Sure crap tracks are very easy to make, but for the few guys that are doing great work it would be a shame for them not to get the exposure they deserve.

rFC allows you to sort tracks by ranking which works pretty well if you’re after only the best.

If the ranking system was locked for two days after any new track release, it would reduce the amount of knee-jerk voting and making sorting by ranking even better.

Although having said that, sometimes there are tracks that don’t look so good, but are still great fun to drive. Then there are some that look great, but are boring to drive. It’s good to have choice.

Also BTB is great for private use; it’s fun to bring your own ideas to life no matter how whacky they might be.

no I didnt mean that lol, I mean everything in rfactor requires skills to make, not only tracks but also carmods.

Well you can criticise in two ways: Negative or Constructive.
Criticism is good but only in the constructive way. negative criticism never gets anyone anywhere.
Special section for BTB tracks? Don’t make me laugh nearly all tracks in rFactor are made with BTB these days. I say better have those tracks than not.
And Jos what are you saying? You can’t honestly say everything in rFactor is crap can you?
If you still think so i would suggest you to fire up CTDP06 on Bahrain 2006 and then honestly say it sucks.

Sadly a lot of people who lack the ability to make decent tracks use BTB. Some of the rFactor ones made with BTB I’ve seen lately have been truly terrible.

Agreed, looking at the most recent releases, on RFC says it all, not suppose to criticize? criticism is good, if you dont, they think they are doing it right, rfc should have a sub section for BTB tracks. @ Jos what planet are you on.

The the crappy tracks are coming from people that don’t put enough time into their work. I’m sure if you try really hard, you can make your track look pretty decent.

I didnt realise the Simbin version of BTB would need to be bought completely seperate, i would much rather have the Simbin one than the one for rFactor that ive got at the moment.
