HFR & FanLebowski are working on bringing a scratch-made version of the BMW M3 E92 GT2 to rFactor, adding BMW’s brand new American Le Mans Series challenger to the simulation.
Built by BMW Motorsport and raced by Rahal Letterman Racing, the BMW M3 faces the world’s most successful GT2 cars such as the Porsche 997 and the Ferrari F430. Making its debut at the 2009 12 Hours of Sebring, the car has already clinched several podium finishes in the very competitive GT2 class of the 2009 ALMS season.
Below is a first preview video, showing the car on several tracks. The makers are still looking for a proper sound for the car’s V8 engine, you can contact them here if you want to help out. Once the rFactor version of the car is out, it will make its way to GTR2 and GTR Evolution.

Just curious, but what are the difference going to be between this mod and the current one on Nogrip http://www.nogripracing.com/details.php?filenr=17719 ?

That one’s quite fictional and quite rubbish to be honest. Hopefully this one will be neither of those.

Awesome he build it from scratch to this, but again with the same old sounds. Is there a reason why Rf has such good sounds and others don’t?
