Nuno Ferraz has released his scratch-made Autodromo Algarve track for rFactor, adding one of the newest international race tracks to the simulation.
Also known as Portimao, the 4.6 kilometer track opened in late 2008, the Portuguese track has become a popular testing & racing venue since. The track offers a challenging layout that is said to resemble the Nürburgring and Spa Franchorchamps, featuring plenty of elevation changes and bumps that made it an instant favorite among many drivers.
The track hosts F1 testing and notable sports car races including the FIA GT as well as the Le Mans Series which ran a six-hour night race last Saturday. The initial release includes the layout used by the Le Mans Series, future versions will include other layouts of this multi-layout facility.

Very well done!
Would need some texture work and a bit of specular here and there though,
specialy on asphalt.
And Ambient colours are way to blue.
Nevertheless, good work!

6e66o, if you look at Nuno Ferraz comments on the mod, he just released the track for LMS weekend, because he’s improving textures and colors, and he’s making more layouts of the track.

Yeah, i know.
Was just giving some feedback :)
Given the quality the track allready has im sure the final Version will be really awesome.
But pleeease change the day ambient colours in next Version.
These blue shadows look so unnatural..
Anyways,

Hi I´m glad everyone is enjoying the track.
6e66o, of course no offense taken, on the contrary, I am gratefull for your feedback and in general to any info that may improve the track. This has been a learning process for me since day 1 so I always look forward tolearning new techniques etc..
The blue shadow you refer to is like this because I have it on default rfactor settings. I have tried other settings and you are absolutely correct, much more realistic. I tried 80,89, 120 and it was a big improvement.
thx again and feel free to give more feedback

I just had to register to say that is is an absolutely fantastic track. It feels just like a rollercoaster and has an amazing flow to it. I just did about 50 laps in the MMG07 McLaren and it is an absolute pleasure to drive. I love having the wheelspin moments coming uphill out of the hairpins and the big dips and rises. Great work Nuno.
