Assetto Corsa – Zonda at Monza Preview

Kunos Simulazioni has released a new preview of their Assetto Corsa simulation, showing the Pagani Zonda R at Monza.

Making its debut at the Geneva Auto Show in 2007, the Zonda R is powered by a six-litre V12 engine from Mercedes Benz. The car weighs little over 1000 kilos, 15 examples of the car have been built.

The car has become rather popular with racing games as aside from Assetto Corsa, the Zonda R has also been seen in previews of SImbin’s GTR3 and it is already available in Project CARS.

Assetto Corsa will be powered by a brand new DirectX 11 graphics engine and will come with advanced features such as blur & DOF. The title will offer extensive modding support as well as ten laser-scanned tracks and fully licensed cars as well as AI – A first for a Kunos title.

    On the other hand I’m not sure if one lousy screenshot of a car that is in every game out there deserves its own entry on this site..

    To me, the car is just kinda in the way – the DOF, that grass, and those trees looks amaaazing! Watch and learn pCARS :D

    The graphics of this game continue to look amazing. Sims had good graphics in the past and IMO there is no reason why the next generation shouldn’t as well. We reached the point where cars looked real a couple of years ago. Nice to see tracks keeping pace in AC.
