Assetto Corsa – Technology Preview Coming Up
The long-awaited technology preview demo of Kunos Simulazioni’s Assetto Corsa title is right around the corner, judging by the latest tweets of Kunos Stefano Casillo.
Stefano has referred to building the demo as “cooking” before so one of his latest tweets sounds very encouraging:

The wait isn’t completely over though as Kunos is currently busy setting up the Assetto Corsa website for the release:

The demo will include one car and one track, all owners of Kunos’ netKar Pro title will be invited to give this first version of Assetto Corsa a try.

Assetto Corsa will be powered by a brand new DirectX 11 graphics engine and will come with advanced features such as blur & DOF. The title will offer extensive modding support as well as ten laser-scanned tracks and fully licensed cars as well as AI – A first for a Kunos title.
Assetto Corsa will be available in Q1 2013, the title will feature licensed cars from manufacturers such as Ferrari, BMW & Lotus. Assetto Corsa is set to be released in Q1 2013.
