they even update a preview… well done!

why it’s(file) size almost as a half of the game

will this work with windows XP?

  • http://www.facebook.com/lasse.j.ougaard Lasse Jakobi Ougaard

No. You need a newer version of DirectX than XP can handle.

(Technically, some people hack XP into taking a newer DirectX like 10 or 11, but I wouldn’t count on it as a viable solution…)

  • gdfgdf fgsd

No, I have XP and tried.
Vista or later is a requirement

Love the updates – now hoping that my request for Mouse Steering capabilities on the official AC forums will be granted on the next update. Would be good when I wanted to play at the office hehe….

now with less steering damper AC really feels perfect. This is a real driving simulator.

  • Matt Orr

ISOTOPE GREEN! Hell yea! Love that color on the Elise / Exige.

Car feels a lot more alive with this update, I’d say it’s the steering damper. Still feels kind of dead for what I’d expect from an Elise, you know, a car with zero power assistance well known for perhaps the best steering feel around….

Careful, if they do that then the crazy people will say it isn’t a sim anymore, lol.

I would like an option to play with my touchscreen…

    Nice update!

    - The gauges looks much crisper now in clearer white!
    - Nice to have the viper at the right side clear of the driver side view!

    - FF improvements are subtle but nice!

    - Tarmac textures are clearly better as well!

    - Nice to have car paint jobs available as “standard” as well with the official colors

Because today´s game file- structures consists of pakfiles. If developers update one file in there, they need to upload the whole pakfile again which results in really big patches. Pretty annoying, but at the moment there is no other way.

This is what a sim should feel like: you just jump in the car and start throwing it around the track as fast as you can. Remember the early reviews that praised how natural AC feels? They were right!

  • Joe Stalans

Totally agree with Wally Masterson. I am REALLY liking this title!

  • Marco Hooghuis

It’s not just a preview, they really want you to give them feedback so they can see how it’s all running on different systems.
