Kunos Simulatzioni has announced a major new license for their Assetto Corsa simulation, announcing a partnership with Porsche AG.
Assetto Corsa players can look forward to two Porsche-themed DLC packs that will bring a mix of Porsche’s race & street machinery to Assetto Corsa.
Exact details on which cars and the pricing of the DLC packs has yet to be revealed, until then you can watch a brand new video trailer below.
The Porsche DLC packs will be available both for the PC version of Assetto Corsa and the upcoming console release that is currently scheduled for late August.
This licensing announcement most likely explains the studios’ surprising decision to close the Assetto Corsa Modding Forums, considering that Porsche has shown to be not particularly supportive of sim racing mods in the past, likely forcing the studio to sacrifice the forums for this new addition.
